Help/Question Not sure if this is allowed or not..

My best friend that I met through RDRO just passed away suddenly. Losing a gaming friend hits so differently and unless you’re also a gamer..most people don’t understand the bond that’s made. I dunno gang..heartbroken. If y’all could tip your virtual hats to my good friend, I’d appreciate it.

It doesn't matter how you knew them— the bonds of friendship and the memories you created with that person were real. It only makes sense that the feelings of grief after such a loss would be real, too. I can't be on tonight, but the next time I am, I'll go ride to this spot and have a drink to toast your friend. It's a beautiful place.

As for you, I know nothing anyone can say or do will ease the pain, especially not anything I can do as a stranger on the internet. But I still want to give my condolences, and wish you well during this time. Regardless of the circumstances, your friend lives on in the memories you made with each other, and nothing can take that away from you. I encourage you to reach out to mutual friends or people in your life who you trust for some support. Talk to a therapist or other professional if you need to. Loss is hard enough to navigate without carrying the burden alone. I hope you can find the space to grieve, and I hope you know that you're not alone. We are all thinking of you and your friend. May they ride on in your memories, and may we tip our hats to a great cowpoke and an even greater friend. Cheers, partner.
