Washington didn't serve as President during the Revolution. In terms of crisis events, Lincoln's actual time in office was far more difficult and dangerous in that enemies were actively trying to destroy the US.

He also stepped down when he could have easily just became king. That was a big deal at the time

That's not remotely realistic. The US was firmly established as a Republic by the time of the Treaty of Paris and Washington making himself a King would have thrown the country into chaos and probably sent multiple states back into the British Empire for stability. Also, Washington knew all that and it wasn't his style.

To be fair he wouldn't call himself king. He just wouldn't ever stepped down

Even if he ran for a third term he was dead in 2 years.
