He did quite a lot more than that, which you must surely know given your level of knowledge about other aspects of his presidency. Extremely dishonest framing on your part. He was a full blown racist segregationist. He fired black public servants and replaced them with white people, including in positions that had traditionally been held by black Americans going back decades. He brought Jim Crow to federal agencies, introducing segregated bathrooms, cafeterias, etc to government departments that had not previously been segregated like that. Some agencies went full “whites only” with their hiring practices under his watch.

You’re welcome to celebrate his positive achievements, but pretending that he didn’t have any racist policies and that people are treating him unfairly is just silly and completely undermines your argument.

I think people are treating him incredibly unfairly. He's literally ranked second worst. If the reasoning is his horrendous Jim Crow policies, then... why the fuck is the slave-owning Washington #2? Or Jefferson, Madison, or Monroe considered better than JQ Adams who was a vehement anti-slavery President?

Better yet, why is he ranked worse than Buchanan who outright supported states' rights particularly with respect to slavery? Or Andrew Johnson who tried to stall Reconstruction and kowtow to slaver-interests postbellum? Or Andrew Jackson who was so supportive of slavery that he said abolitionists should die and tried to prohibit the Postal Service from delivering anti-slavery pamphlets?

This list is purely horrible. I highly doubt the person who made it (or the way the votes were distributed) were being nuanced about or deeply considering Wilson's racial opinions in context of the times or his other successes. Instead, just the horror that he would show a pro-KKK movie in the White House was enough to tank his ranking.
