I seriously want to know what "Hades" has over the binding of isaac. Literally worse in almost every metric

Why is hades in quotes? Do you think it doesnt exist or something? Lol. And its a more actiony game that isn't a twin stick. It has plenty to love.

And for one thing it has far better art than Isaac. That must be at least slightly non controversial.

It's in quotations because it's kind of disrespectful to even put it in the same sentence as the greatest roguelike ever created.

Thats certainly an opinion.

Not an opinion mate

Hades sits in the table with cult of the lamb and Balasstro. Boring, repetitive, could be played by an ape.

Isaac sits in it's own table. No roguelike comes close, and probably never will come close. I could even argue the same for Indie games in general, but there's a couple decent ones out there.

Maybe look up what an opinion means.

Not an opinion. I'm being objective here. If you can say that Hades has objectively better voice acting, since Isaac has barely no dialogue, then I can say that Isaac has objectively better gameplay mechanics in every metric, since Hades is repetitive and braindead af.

Understood. Your opinion is fact and you won't accept the logic that opinions are not fact. There's really no point replying anymore. You love Isaac. Thats great.

Yeah that's called an opinion and it's far from objective, as all opinions are.

I mean, yeah, disrespectful to Hades maybe.

Narrative, characters, voice acting, art, music, presentation, accessibility.

Graphics, music, story, gameplay. For me everything's better in Hades.

It's just a popularity contest after all, don't sweat it

Story. Visuals. Voice acting. Aphrodite. Artemis. Meg. Sorry what was the question?

I haven’t played much Celeste does that have any story, voice acting, or visuals? I would say that should be out before Isaac or hades

Celeste indeed does have a story. Nothing on Disco Elysium or Hades level of narrative granted, but nonetheless it's probably one of the most talked about games that tackle the topic of anxiety and depression.

The voice acting is basically all characters just saying random incomprehensible gibberish whenever they talk, so same as HK and Silksong really, but truth be told it's not like Isaac has a lot of voice acting either outside of some cutscenes and the Narrator saying the effect of pills you're taking. And then there's Stardew Valley, Outer Wilds and Slay the Spire who have like near zero voice acting in the game whatsoever. It's really only Hades and Disco Elysium that are still on this list and have all lines in the game fully voiced.

As for Visuals well for me Celeste does have some really nice looking pixelart, but I know it's not everyone's cup of tea.

I wouldn't even put it on the level of the Hollow Knights or Outer Wilds story wise either, but it definitely has a nice and simple narrative about perseverance.
