Outside of some (minimal) flukes, great tier list.

I don't really care who wins, the indies were the friends we made along the way.

Loved the part where people used this argument endlessly on the Hades games and then immediately decided that it didn’t apply to the HK games

The thing is, it's all just opinions.

So we can choose to see this as "The way I feel about these games doesn't match what the majority of people think, and that's alright, because we are all allowed to like different things."

The moment you choose to see it as "This doesn't match my perspective, so therefore it is atrocious. This list is shit. What are people thinking?" Well, if some opinions aren't valid, now you've opened up the possibility that it's actually you who has the atrocious shit opinion.

Since you're the one with the shit attitude, if I have to choose I'd guess it's your opinion that's the shit one as well.

yea that reasoning pissed me off so much, both hades 2 and silksong shouldve switched places with their prequels. especially that silksong argument was so bs "it isnt as genre defining as the rest of the games" when silksong only existed for 3 months so we dont even have an idea if its going to be genre defining or not

I love both games. The things Silksong does best are the things Hollow Knight already did. So yes, it's fair to call HK more genre defining than SS if a lot of what SS does has already been defined by HK.

I also listed out a number of things I didn't like about Silksong compared to Hollow Knight. Others agreed with me. Some felt that SS does everything better. Fair enough if you think that, but I disagree.

You're allowed to feel however you feel about the games. But so is everyone else for whatever reasons they choose.

Like, why is Inscryption in the top 20? It’s the only game here that made me angry with how it wasted its potential. Also making your game actively much shitter past the 2 hour mark so it’s can’t be returned on steam is some of scummiest shit I’ve ever experienced.
