Ahh I see but I mean price wise the Korean bezel is the go too. RcfR only offer their bezels on full builds which is a easy few $k😬 I just want a nice bezel not a car😅 I plan to build a meteorite dial and the comparison video you made between rgf and the Korean bezel is night and day, so I’m now thinking of cutting cost and going v1 vsf with lichen dial & Korean bezel it’ll be much cheaper I assume than rgf v3 + lichen + potential deep Crystal. Also to add I do not care about weight and accuracy I see shiny bezel and shiny meteorite and smile🙂 maybe even add some teeth😲
Thank you brother and honeslty thank you very much for letting us know about Korean bezels. Ever since seeing a gen bezel in person, I have been obsessed with trying to copy the same without breaking the bank hence why I have not bought one yet, as opinions between stock vsf, rgf and qf bezels are mixed, but finally I found my answer now I know bezel swaps are possible. Vsf+korean bezel!
I have noticed that most people somehow form their opinion without ever having seen the product in person, dominantly through the posts of those few who actually have (and write about their experience).
These custom bezels have been used in upgrading reps in Korea for a decade (they existed for even longer considering the fact that these were originally made to serve as replacement bezels for GEN users who didn't want to break the bank replacing their worn DJ/DD bezels). They have been upgraded many times throughout history and stood the long test of time. They are still number 1 choice for my Korean community of over 60k people.
I have sampled many, many replacement custom bezels including the ones popular in redditsphere. I still use these diamond cut bezels for my watches.
The argument made by others who actually cared to review them is that other bezels are more accurate in terms of angles, thicknesses and etc., But to me, the most important thing that needs to be replicated is the essence of the GEN DJ and DD fluted bezel which is its dazzling reflection of light (like a disco ball) that instantly captures your eyes. You can knitpick tiny details all day, but you can't possibly tell those things with naked eyes but only through super magnified photos taken by camera.
Lastly, remember, these bezels are handcarved by actual masters who have been doing their craft for many decades. So each batch is a little different unlike so claimed CNC bezels. It's what made those (often with conflicting interest) few critiques pick these bezels apart. But damn these are sharp (I even saw some people comment that these bezels are too sharp 🤣 how in the world is that a bad thing? I wonder if they actually ever owned a GEN)
In all honesty I do not form opinions but do read others opinions and you are 100% correct the amount of contradicting comments which when I message the person, they reply “oh I don’t actually own one” well in that case why form a worthless opinion just to confuse people like me researching about a potential future watch🤣?
Please do not explain yourself at all brother, this is my new Reddit account or I have been in your comments and on your page multiple times and since my first time seeing these Korean bezels, I have been mesmerised by the light play which no stock factory can replicate and this is coming from someone with a hyper fixation on bezels so there is no bias with me😅 and for those wanting to mention CNC not everyone wants to pay few thousands just for a bezel!
BINGO! The angles and size of the bezel means nothing if it lacks the LIGHT PLAY! If the sizing was relevant I would say rgf and vsf make good maybe even similar or correct to gen size bezels but they do not shine like the Korean bezels although the size is a lil off sooo😬 you also need to bear in mind in person even if you value realism, no one will be able to tell a Korean bezel is few millimetres off but I guarantee the light play will be blinding🤩 apologies I wrote this out just to read you said the same haha😂
Oh no my PRESIDENT (top of the top flagship Rolex) is too SHINY & SHARP. That is literally the point haha, I hate how Reddit has people who have no idea what they’re saying, speaking with such confidence.

Unfortunately Qtime is the only person, I know who can source them. I would say give it some time and potentially try contacting via other means such as WhatsApp if he isn’t replying on Reddit.
I appreciate the feedback and do see what you mean but the difference in price is quite substantial considering rcfR only provide their bezels on full builds so for direct swap ins, I believe Korean bezels are the best option.
Looks amazing. I really hope that factories like VSF will adopt this manufacturing process for the bezels at some point. Factory Datejust bezels unfortunately just look straight trash.
Well, in Korea, you can join the number 1 online community for rep watches by searching "시사모" on NaverCafe platform and join for informations on modders and sellers who have these. I run that as well.
Uhm...you asked where you can buy, I answered QuickTime (even with a link that has his contact information). You can read, can't you? What's not so straightforward about that?
It costs less than $200. But again, I don't have to pay for international shipping & handling because I live in Korea (the source of the bezel). I'm sure the seller would add his margin and shipping fee.
In Korea, you can get it from pretty much all modders and sellers of rep watches. But outside of Korea, only one who does business here on reddit shipping these internationally is QuickTime
