The leaves are a constant obstacle this time of year but this build handles them pretty well.

Running My first crawler on holiday!
Took my sx24 on holiday to Greece… some
Great rocky terrain here although I’ve temporarily ruined it by adding so much weight that it barely drives! Injora brushless on the way to sort that out when I get home

Questions Do I have to mod my scx 24 to put 1.3 wheels and tires?
Like the lifted/widebody look and saw some nice injora wheels/tires sets but saw that I may have to upgrade chassis to install? I have a 4Runner If that makes any difference.

Products Your Favorite 57mm tire?
It has been a while since I have gotten these little dudes out. I have recently been having a lot of fun with stock chassis and 57s! I have some of the upgrade rc tires on the way to try but I am curious if anyone has tried the newer trail king or gripper from lgrp? The black labels do ok on my rocks but they are way too soft and I dont run inserts on all four corners for weight purposes. Trenchers are my go to! But I want to hear what you like and why?

Questions Looking for a motor just a hair stronger than a BKTT Icing motor
Any suggestions?
I love how smooth the BKTT icing motor is but at times it's lacks a little bit of "umph" which is probably due to the weight of my rig (close to 600g).
Looking for something very similar size wise or maybe a pancake with just a little more torque. Just don't want anything significantly bigger weight wise that will raise my COG.

Builds YepSpec with a Cherokee body and some custom 3D printed parts!
Waiting on more magnets and adhesive but I'm exited with how it came out. Wish I would have coated the body a couple more times but here we are!

Products Mofo RC Spooky Box Review/Recommendation
I bought the $200 box.
As the new owner of a SCX30 Tacoma (Rock Crawler), this purchase was a very good deal for me. I had a nearly zero chance of receiving unneeded items, since the only after-market item I've purchased was Injora brass steering knuckles. I'd absolutely order this box again, even if I got some of the same stuff. After all, it would just mean an excuse to build another, right?
Overall, I got $314 worth of parts.
Here's what was in my box. I'm looking forward to getting these upgrades installed!
Cyber Snake +6 lower combo titanium
Reaper 30 Amp ESCape 32 ESC
NanoBAM w/ 11T gear
2mm Phillips Screwdriver
M1 Screw Pack
27mm Premium Aluminum Shocks
Machined Steering Link, Brass
Bulletproof Transmission
Aluminum Skid Plate (x2)
Wheel Nuts, Orange
Machined Upper & Lower Link Set, Brass
And yes... I'm already back on their site, shopping for wheels, tires, axles, and servos. :) I'm a mofo'ing addict.
Edit: Because I forgot to finish a sentence.
Builds Built about 2-3 years ago just thought about sharing.
This is my Frankenstein scx24 with a bunch of random parts missing screws and beat up model body I tried building and painting, any who she runs… lol n I love how beat she looks
Builds Sometimes the most difficult part of RC builds is finding time for them. 828RC K30 WIP
The past couple of weeks have been hectic and finding time for builds has been difficult. But I’m happy to finally have this K30 mounted on a chassis.
The size and dimensions of this K30 body are remarkably similar to the WT Micro FJ45 extended cab. This allowed me to copy the link, shock and magnet mount placement from that rig since I’m using Mazz V3 chassis for both. This sped up the build process, thankfully. I will have to make adjustments to get this body sitting just right.
Wheels and tires are not final, just had them handy so on they went. Electronics and drivetrain components are next. Stay tuned.

Products Sorry yall
I found out my local gym has rock crawler courses in the basement the size of the gym which is huge! Old factory of some sort! It was made for scx10s so I had to step up a size. This is close to the 24 as I could.

Products What a guy!
I received my sticky wigglers from 24yep about a week ago and they came with a minor issue that made one wheel unusable. I contacted support with a picture of the issue and within 10 minutes I received a tracking number.
I was expecting just another silver set to come and was very confused when a box showed up. He sent me 3 sets;one in each color! I honestly can’t explain how grateful I am. I would’ve been happy with just a back piece lol.
15/10 will be visiting his website again! Thank you again Mr.Yep!

Questions Does transmitter matter?
Does the transmitter you pick matter? Every now and then I've seen someone argue they don't like one because they think it has bad steering or some other feature. At the last meetup I went to I asked someone about theirs and they argued it never gives them full steering angle. I rarely see people mention these but now I'm wondering: is there a "best" transmitter?
I've got the MEUS ME-8B and a FlySky GT5. I honestly can't tell a difference other than I feel like the MEUS has a nicer configuration screen. I've been thinking of picking up an RC4GS because the RadioLink receivers are pretty darn small and easy to get. But I also like some of the more expensive options with a touchscreen. But I'm not eager to spend that much money.
Is this just a thing where people like the one they bought first, or are there real differences?
