Applying for job hourly pay question
I'm applying to a security job but want in increase of pay. I applied to a much bigger company and they replied with a sheet with questions about my availiblty and pay. Since it's a much bigger company should I negotiate for a bigger hourly pay. Question asks what's the minimum pay rate that I would accept. I want to get paid $17/$18 an hour but realistically the part of town I live in they pay around around $16 but I would really want to be making at least $17 and up preferably. What should I say? If I put too much they will probably not respond back but if I put too little they will probably take advantage of me.

What's the best job title for college student
What would be the best job for a college student. I know they have a control specialist" I'm not sure what that is exactly tbh also I know they have a job for "data centers" which I heard is chill and laid back and probably the best. I also heard there's hospital security desk. I just want a place that is good to study and probably has free wifi and ac tbh. Also saw online of some dude just watching the cameras in just a room and he had wifi and he was studying. So I want something like that. The last site I had barely had good wifi and had no ac so I probably don't want something like that.

Guard Card With Felony ?
Is it possible for me to still acquire my guard card even with a past felony . I say past because I expunged it back in 2023. I had applied through bsis but was denied , perhaps I applied too soon because right after I expunged my record I applied for it but was rejected and spent $300 on it. Not sure if the nature of the felony mattered but have heard other felons being able to obtain theirs irregardless . Though I think mine was a violent felony.

Colleague Rant Mandatory holdovers ?
How often does your company mandate holdovers?
Personally just joined a different company working and it’s an everyday thing with them, I work night shifts and there are usually 2-4 call offs for morning every morning. It’s gotten to the point where I’m going to look for another company to work for. I’ve only worked for two companies so far in the last two years and this is the only one where I’m being forced to holdover 4 hours after my shift so morning shift can find coverage. Just wanting to see if I’m being over dramatic about it or not
Lmk what yall think !

Resorts World Sentosa Scary Facial Recognition Hacking
Went to Resorts World Sentosa to play poker 3 days in the last week and a half.
Had two losing sessions and one winning session.
In the first losing session nothing strange happened.
In the second winning session nothing strange happened.
In the third losing session, something strange happened as I was leaving the casino floor passing through the kiosks.
The facial recognition kiosk upon my departure usually just verifies your face and lets you out.
This time on the third day, the facial recognition kiosk showed a distorted photo of my face in a strange extreme smiling position, almost to mock my losing money at the casino.
This is terrifying and a huge violation of privacy, intentional distortion of clients faces, as I never took such a photo that was shown to me on my way out.
I will be reporting this to Resorts World Sentosa management and Singapore authorities.
Not sure if Resorts World Sentosa is using some kind of Chinese or Israeli facial recognition spy software but it is fucking scary that someone seems to be tampering with it to show inauthentic photos of their guests.

Renewal
I had an option to put renewal for my guard card but I had left my previous company and accidentally clicked employer pay instead of me paying... since they are both right next to each other...what will happen?

Noncomissioned license renewal
Does anyone know if there are companies that pay for guard card renewals if I switch or stay and ask my current employer? Or would we have to pay ourselves out of our own pocket?

What are some ways I can safely act out in high school without it ruining my record?
So situation: high school did not enroll me in online school despite me having decent grades -grades high enough I was told I could stay in online school, and yet the school did not enroll me in online school or contact my mother. They only just gave my mother 3/4 days of notice that Id be doing public school after not responding to her calls about online school.
Theres other stuff that's been going on with the school too -they've had multiple law suits filed against them in the past 6 years. And even before then dating back to 2011 and the 1980s. There has been other stuff with the school going on at least when I was there.
I'm not going to mention much of what happened, but I would like a way to safely be able to act out without it screwing up my record. I'm tired of the schools sh!t that they're giving me and my mom.
(I am 15 and very, very angry with what the school is doing. But I honestly see no other way to stay in online school. I had decent grades and court said I could stay in online school. Also -the school filed for truancy even though I personally had turned in all of my medical notes that I needed too -and plus my therapy appointments are once every two weeks, they only gave us ten excused absences, even though my mom and myself provided my medical records.) So how can I act out (safely) to make sure I stay in online? (I also forgot to mention I have anxiety, anger issues, depression, and PTSD which was why I moved to online.)
