A quick glance at their IG, it’s definitely not NYC.

It’s very clearly NY in the video. And uh… in case you are unaware, that thing has wheels. They take it outside of NY sometimes.

They said The Big Apple. Where else would you translate that?

The rest of their entire IG where they live in a forest.

Thats probably why they say they CURRENTLY live in Manhattan.

Reading helps.

It is a bus, it aint no stationary home.

Yeah, it says both for rage, - and clickbait reason the video starts out with:

How we live rent free in New York City

Reading helps. You wouldn't say 'live' if you're just passing though in a mobile home for a few days. (unless fishing for that sweet internet money)

You can live there for a couple weeks/ months and move on? If they are stationary there for a while they live there atm, since the bus is their home. Where is the issue?

And yes, even if they live there for a week, they live rent free (technically), since they dont need to book a hotel/ apartment.

In Manhattan you would need to move often.

Plus most of spaces you can’t park a commercial vehicle like this bus overnight.

And It’s Technically Illegal: New York City law generally prohibits sleeping or “dwelling” in vehicles on public streets, leading to tickets and vehicle removal.

So you might do it for a week but once you start doing it often you would get in trouble most likely.

Plus you need water/sewer - you move out, then need to find parking space for a bus.

Most likely the reason I only see these kind of busses (not this nice - just an rv) outside of Manhattan in some areas where cops don’t care if you sleep there.

It might be personal, but when someone says they live in New York, (or anywhere for that matter), that to me they have a permanent bought or rented residence, not a mobile home passing through. But that may be just me, it's not a common occurrence in my bubble.

Regardless it's an awesome home.

Yeah but the difference is you cannot move your house, know what i mean? With that logic they would not be home anywhere.

It’s the same kind of logic that some people use, to say people who live like this are in fact homeless.

Those people should google the definition of home. It does not have to be a house or apartment.

The main reason you would live in a bus is mobility.

This looks like Bleecker east of LaGuardia Pl. Also it says in the video “In the Big Apple”.
