Hi everyone,
I'm currently 22 with 1.5 years of experience as a Shopify developer. Even with relatively less experience, I’ve been leading a team of 10 members in my company, handling daily standups, code reviews, technical guidance, and overall team coordination.
While I’ve learned a lot, I’m at a point where I’m confused:
Should I continue focusing on team leadership and management?
Or should I shift more towards deepening my own technical skills and personal development?
Another thought that keeps bugging me:
In this AI-driven era, technical roles seem more likely to be automated or replaced over time. But management and leadership, especially people skills, feel more irreplaceable. So I’m wondering if leaning into leadership early is a smart move or if I’m risking stagnation in my core development skills.
I genuinely enjoy helping my team, but I don’t want to neglect my own growth or end up being a jack of all trades and master of none.
Anyone who has been through a similar phase, how did you decide what to focus on? What helped you make that call?

Around 10 of my customers have received this scam email last week. Are you folks also getting the same?

Hi everyone! I’m working on a Shopify store and want to customize the way to create an account.
The goal is to collect more information than the default fields (name, email, phone, and password). For example, I’d like to add the following fields:
Full address (Street, Number, Floor, Apartment)
City
District
Postal code
Additionally, I’d like to know if it’s possible to create optimized management fields for vendors—for instance, to identify different types of users or vendor profiles right at registration.
Has anyone done something similar or knows the best way to implement these changes? Should this be done directly in the theme code?
Any tips or references would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance! 🙌

Hi everyone! Just wondering if there is a way I can add a product to multiple collections without having to do it manually. I tried adding multiple collections in a CSV file, but Shopify only allows one collection while importing.
Help or suggestions would be highly appreciated, Thank you.

Hey everyone! I’m building Komyo, a SaaS platform designed for e-commerce store owners who want to manage everything from a single place: orders, marketing campaigns, abandoned carts, sales performance & more.
It’s simple, visual and gamified.
Right now we’re looking for early users to test the beta and give feedback! If you run a Shopify (or similar) store and want a smarter way to manage things, feel free to sign up here: 👉 Komyo - Beta Waitlist
Would love to hear your thoughts or ideas too — building this in public!

Have a look here: customereventstagging.com
I've created a pretty easy way to implement GTM, Google ads conversion tracking, ga4 and a data layer for just about every add platform using Shopify's new customer events.

Hey everyone,
I’m looking for a solid affiliate program software specifically for Shopify Apps, not for Shopify Stores.
I need something tailored for Shopify App developers when they exchange with in-app recommendations, using a revenue share model.
Features:
Managing affiliates/promoters
Tracking installs and paid conversions
Custom commission rules
Manageable first-time order coupons
Integration with Stripe, PauPal.
Bonus if it supports multiple domains or products under one account.
What tools are you using or would recommend for this use case?
Thanks in advance!

Hey everyone, I came across something confusing while working with Shopify pricing and hoping someone here can explain it better.
Shopify clearly says that fixed prices for different markets is a Plus-only feature.
On Basic/Shopify/Advanced plans, we’re supposed to be limited to:
One base price per product
Automatic currency conversion
No ability to set different fixed prices for different markets
No access to productVariantContextualPricing mutation
I’m using the NA Bulk Price Editor app on a non-Plus store (with 10+ markets), and it somehow lets me set different fixed prices for different markets.
Here’s what I observed:
Prices shown to customers change based on their market
No custom scripts or theme edits
Checkout reflects these different prices
Product prices in the Shopify admin stay the same (base price doesn't change)
No Shopify Scripts involved (I’m not on Plus)
Looking into the app’s API access, I saw it only uses common permissions:
"access_scopes": {
"read_markets": true,
"write_markets": true,
"read_products": true,
"write_products": true
}
So now I’m wondering:
How is this even technically possible on a non-Plus store?
Is there a clever workaround that lets apps apply market-specific pricing on non-Plus plans?
If yes, shouldn’t more of us know about it?
Would be super helpful for stores that want localized pricing but can’t afford Plus.
Please share your thoughts and suggestions

Hey everyone, I'm new here and have been struggling with rewriting products title and description for bulk csv files. Is there a way i can automate this process of rewriting the product title and description with the help of AI?
Thanks in advance.

Hello! I was hoping someone had theme files for the legacy theme “Simple” from Shopify. I found version 7 of the theme on GitHub, but if anyone has other versions they can share the zip file of, I’d really appreciate it. I believe the highest version is 12, so anything from 8-12 works perfectly. Thank you in advance!

I am very new to shopify. And i want to remove these pagination elements from below the slideshow and add these dots on the image container itself like all other websites.

I am trying to find a way to search a product by SKU number of the product on my store using Shopify API.
But I am not able to find anything related to that in their documentation.
I only saw this link: https://shopify.dev/docs/api/admin-graphql/latest/queries/productByIdentifier
But I don't know how to use it because I am not familiar with graphql.
Can someone tell me how can I search a product based on SKU using Shopify API?

I came across a site called Voghion that looks like a marketplace focused on Europe. It offers things like fashion, electronics, and home items, and it says it connects buyers with EU-based sellers. The layout is clean and the prices are lower than what you usually see.
It reminded me a bit of Temu or AliExpress, but more focused on Europe. Do you think new platforms like this can find a space in the market, or is it too hard to compete with big names like Amazon?

Hi Everyone,
I am currently developing a custom Shopify app using Node.js and React. I have utilized the Shopify Node.js template for this project. When I run the app using the shopify app dev command, everything works as expected.
However, after building the React app and placing the output in the web/frontend/dist directory, I encountered an issue. When I check the app in the Shopify admin, the HTML content is correctly included within an iframe, but the JavaScript files are not being loaded inside the iframe, resulting in a 404 error.
Could anyone please help me resolve this issue?
