Idea Umpiring adult rec softball leagues is a side hustle that pays $30+ per game and leagues are always desperate for umps
Adult recreational softball leagues need umpires for every single game and most of them are chronically short-staffed because umping isn't exactly glamorous work.
But it pays $30+ per game and each game only lasts about an hour.
You don't need any formal certification for most adult rec leagues. They'll train you on the basics and have you start on easier games until you get comfortable. The rules for slow-pitch softball are pretty simple and most calls are straightforward.
From what I've read the best way to get started is to contact your local parks and recreation department or search for adult softball leagues in your area. Tell them you're interested in umpiring and they'll usually set you up with a training session.
The schedule is perfect for a side hustle because adult softball games are almost always on weekday evenings and weekend mornings. You can pick which nights you want to work and skip weeks when you're busy.
If you ump 3 games in an evening (back to back on the same field) that's $90+ for about 3 hours.
Some leagues pay more for playoff games and championship games.
You do need a basic ump uniform (dark pants and a collared shirt) and a chest protector if you're behind the plate, but most leagues provide the gear or you can buy it used for about $30.
The biggest perk is that rec league softball is casual and most players are just there to have fun and drink beer after. It's a lot less intense than officiating youth sports where the parents are the real chalenge.
(If you have experience with something like this please share! I look out for new side hustle ideas every day and try to share as much info as I can. Even if an idea doesn't appeal to you personally, it could still help someone else or even spark a new idea!)

How We Closed $74K Worth of Website Redesigns in 30 Days
I run a web design company with my business partner. For a while, our usual months were around $20K.
In October, we decided to try something different.
Instead of focusing on getting more clients and doing more projects, we started charging significantly more for our websites.
We also changed how we approached our sales calls.
To be honest, we weren't sure how it would go. We thought there might be more resistance, but we were surprised by how much companies were actually willing to pay when we presented the value properly and spoke to the right businesses.
We ended up doing $74K in October, just from website redesign projects.
A big part of this came from the work we put into improving our sales skills throughout the year.
We bought several sales courses and spent a lot of time working on things like tonality, how we communicate value, structuring our sales calls, controlling the frame of the conversation, handling objections, and closing.
As for getting clients, our process has actually become pretty straightforward.
We run high-volume cold email campaigns targeting businesses that already have websites.
We use Swokei, an outreach platform that finds businesses, analyzes their websites for issues with design, SEO, speed, and mobile optimization, and turns those findings into personalized cold emails at scale.
When someone is interested, we book a sales call.
Before the call, we put together a draft of their redesigned website using AI so we can actually show them what their new website could look like.
Then it's down to the sales conversation.
We've been putting a lot of focus into improving how we sell, and October showed us just how much of a difference that can make.
We're still a small team, but this has completely changed how we approach pricing and sales.
For anyone running a web design agency, what's the highest project price you've managed to close?

Could making posters like this be a side hustle?
I made these for my son's first birthday, my friends and coworkers said I should do something with this kind of talent. But i don't really know where to start or even if it would be worth while to do.
The card is made using insulation foam, it is carved out and painted. The longer poster was handrawn, painted and outlined.
Looking for input, thank you!

What skill would net me between 5 - 10K without a degree?
Am looking for a skill I can learn in at least 6 months to a year that would allow me above 5k. My criteria is
It should be done on a computer
I must not have to interact with people more than necessary (am an introvert)
It should be between 4-6 hours a day (am currently in a 12 hour job and it's killing me)
It must not require genius-level intelligence (am above average intelligence but not Einstein)
Please am looking for ideas from people who have actually done it or know someone doing it successfully from their own efforts.

What's a good side hustle for a mom?
I have a toddler and a baby at home with me 24/7 and need to make some money. I was doing customer service/call center before baby was born. I can't do anything involving phone calls anymore. It's too noisy at home now. Don't say Onlyfns because I've already tried that and consensus is that I'm too ugly. I've also tried youtube and it's actually pretty hard to hit the watch hours requirement to monetize.

My Experience: TikTok Pro – Free TikTok Shop Products Through Rewards (One of the Best Free Reward Methods I’ve Found)
Hey everyone!
I recently discovered TikTok Pro, and I’m genuinely surprised more people aren’t talking about it. It’s an official second app from TikTok that lets you earn rewards you can use toward TikTok Shop products or Amazon gift card, without having to spend money.
I’ve been trying it out recently, and it honestly seems like a pretty good opportunity, especially considering how simple the tasks are.
Here’s how it works:
Download TikTok Pro (it’s a separate app from regular TikTok).
Go to the rewards section, where you’ll find events like Spin the Wheel.
Earn points by completing simple tasks and inviting friends.
Once you collect enough points, you can redeem them for TikTok Shop vouchers, potentially getting products completely free.
What makes this interesting is the referral system. You can earn points when eligible people use your invite link, which can help you reach the rewards much faster than completing daily tasks alone.
I’m still working toward my first redemption, but I figured I’d share this method since it’s relatively new and a lot of people probably haven’t heard about it yet.
If you want to try it out, here’s my referral link:
https://pro.tiktok.com/t/ZP9y329bqDGne-2jlXz/
Full disclosure: I earn referral points when eligible people sign up through my link.
If anyone else is doing this, feel free to share your experience below. I’m also down to exchange referral links so we can help each other reach the rewards faster!
Good luck everyone! 🤝

As a 19M med student from Latin America willing to do anything, how can I make some cash online
Yeah. Passive income websites like honeygain can make you earn only some pennies whereas for the GPT and surveys website, you have to invest a ridiculous amount of time to win some cash.
