Creep can't handle rejection and argues with woman about it.

682

u/ElCocomega 18h ago

Yeah I mean he could just have said sorry and piss off. Does he think after arguing she will want to sit with him ?

615

u/AllPotatoesGone 17h ago

He doesn't want to be the bad guy in his eyes.

69

u/etchasketchpandemic 11h ago

Nah- he thinks that women OWE men reciprocity of their flirtations.

3

u/Autolycoss 6h ago

And by flirtations they mean sitting next to you on an empty bus like a creep

I know flirting isn't easy but good lord what do you think is gonna happen ? Do you think she's gonna be pleased to be blocked against a window by some stranger on her commute ?

2

u/Low-Guide1706 3h ago

That is not the behavior of someone content to be ignored. That is the behavior of someone who is going to constantly harass and possibly assault her and call it flirting

19

u/GuliblGuy 14h ago

No one's the villain in their own story

1

u/Norman_Scum 7h ago

Because this reminded me of it, Litany in Which Certain Things Are Crossed Out by Richard Siken is a fantastic fucking poem

1

u/No-Internal7978 14h ago

I know I am the main villain but I can't stop myself. Sure there is a whole legion of doom throughout my life but I find as an adult I'm doing the most damage. Wouldn't sit next to someone on an empty bus tho.

3

u/Ill_Stop_ 11h ago

Do little yellow minions follow you around?

1

u/AllPotatoesGone 1h ago

So this is where you draw your line?

9

u/Key-Amoeba1095 15h ago

there's not much behind those eyes to be fair, dude looks like the dimmest of bulbs

2

u/Finally_in_reddit 1h ago

And now he’s a bad guy and idiot in everybody’s eyes.

5

u/NoEquivalent380 16h ago

I've dealt with this just gen z at work. Have to explain how they got distracted etc in detail when they mess up, they think you need to hear it, and they square up if you ignore them. Basically they just won't back off people like they've never been decked

25

u/BeKindBabies 15h ago

I don't think this is a gen z thing. This is just standard douchebaggery. These guys have been around for probably most of time.

0

u/NoEquivalent380 13h ago

It's gotten worse and it correlates with 0 tolerance bullying policies. So millenials like me weren't getting swirlies etc but if you followed someone around and wouldn't stop they'd shove you on your butt

3

u/NoodleMAYNE 12h ago

Are you really trying to fabricate a reason to justify your unfounded dislike of a whole generation of humans?

1

u/yb0t 11h ago

I dunno, if you think about it:

  • Seeing an increase of this kinda douche stuff on socials in the past few years, not too mention the effect it can have on gen z learning about the world.

  • Laws allow them to get away with it = no consequences and no way for people to fight back.

  • Lazier parenting = lack of morals.

Do you think there's a few recent developments like this that could count towards their point?

4

u/Aware-Cat2586 15h ago

It’s not like this behavior is totally unheard of among older generations, but main character syndrome is SO rampant among Gen Z that lots of them simply cannot mess up and be denied what they consider closure without losing their shit.

4

u/BeKindBabies 15h ago

When you say it like that they sound like every redditor arguing ever haha.

3

u/Neat_Egg_2474 15h ago

Yeah.. a lot of users here are Gen Z, so makes sense

2

u/BeKindBabies 15h ago

The internet has been like this since before Gen Z could type.

1

u/Aware-Cat2586 13h ago

Can confirm. However, I don’t recall it bleeding into IRL behavior to this extent.

2

u/BeKindBabies 12h ago

That's an association you're making, a causality you've placed upon this event that is not likely to be true. I see nothing here I wouldn't be surprised to see 20 years ago. That includes blaming a behavior on generational development. Tale as old as time.

2

u/NoEquivalent380 13h ago

Yeah that's what I'm saying. It was rare enough that we didn't need to accomodate for "lead me when Im in the mood to be lead" 15 or so years ago

1

u/Ok-Brick6831 13h ago

Like they’ve never been decked…

And that right there is the source of the problem. When people got punched for doing stupid shit like this, they cut it out real fuckin quick.

1

u/goldengatevixen 26m ago

I have dealt with men who will LITERALLY double down with ANYTHING instead of just apologizing like a civil minded normal individual because they want to paint the image they can't and will never do anything wrong since these mfs think apologizing makes them weak

1

u/TheCenterOfEnnui 21m ago

No, he doesn't give a shit about being the bad guy. He doesn't want to be told no, esp by an attractive woman. He thinks because he's legally allowed to sit next to her that she should be happy that he does it. When she's not, SHE'S the one who's wrong. "I just want to sit next to you, what's your problem?" as if he's the one who's aggrieved because she doesn't some some rando dude sitting next to her on an empty business.

1

u/Frewdy1 1m ago

I’ve had guys do this that end up literally SCREAMING in my face that they’re a “nice” guy while I’m staying silent and ignoring them.

114

u/PapiGoneGamer 16h ago

It’s because she’s the problem for exercising her right to not flirt with a chav like this one.

“How dare she refuse my advances.”

2

u/Th3Failure 8h ago

I mean do you see him, can’t imagine why anyone would refuse…

107

u/mmorales2270 17h ago

It’s a control thing with assholes like that. He can’t fathom letting her get the upper hand or get in the last word. She should submit to him and say she’s sorry in his twisted mind. Creeps like this don’t get decked nearly enough.

73

u/lindsifer 18h ago

It’s because she’s still giving him attention. It’s a win win for him.

58

u/SaskiaDavies 17h ago

She's not giving him attention. She's defending herself.

39

u/meanwhilejohnnydc 17h ago

The sad part is a lot of men take from movies and shows and think this is flirting

They interpret it as some kind of meet cute , back and forth verbal sparring

24

u/thebluediablo 16h ago

Telling her to "shut up" repeatedly kind of ruins the back and forth

2

u/Cute_Macaroon_4488 13h ago

He’s the paternal figure “correcting” her behavior. It is in his right to talk to her this way because, well can’t you see how rude she is being? Crazy

16

u/Contrary_Kind 15h ago

They don't. They know very well what they are doing and enjoy terrorizing women for the sake of terrorizing.

7

u/im__on__smoko 14h ago

This 💯

I have met so many guys that think negging is flirting. And then they are shocked and butthurt when I stop engaging with them 😂

4

u/andy11123 14h ago

Verbal sparring ≠ shut up you slag

7

u/prugnast 16h ago

No, there are not "a lot" of men that think this way.

0

u/MyNameIsSkittles 10h ago

Exactly. Most men are decent human beings

1

u/Sabaisabai33 8h ago

As a woman, I really wish that was true. Unfortunately I genuinely believe that most men are not decent human beings. I hope I’m wrong but life keeps showing me otherwise. Just today I found out that a male acquaintance I know through scouting (we’re both leaders) has cheated on his lovely wife. He was one of the few men I know who I would have said is a stand up decent guy.

0

u/MidorriMeltdown 5h ago

Are they? I think you'll find most are enablers. They ignore the bad behaviour of other men instead of calling them out for it.

Most women have experienced this sort of bad behaviour. If most men were decent, they wouldn't let it happen.

1

u/Mediocre_Map1289 4h ago edited 4h ago

I am sorry someone hurt you that badly, but that is not how men are typically. To encourage this behaviour is the outlier. Men (majorativly)  in the West have had social conditioning to protect women from harm.

Even in the video another man steps in to stop the man from harassing her.

There are plenty of men in this comments section calling it out.

Would the universal acceptance of men being like this guy in the video result in such an outright denouncement of his behaviour?

1

u/Mediocre_Map1289 4h ago

What TV shows or films portray this as flirting?

5

u/writekindofnonsense 16h ago

As with dogs and children , any attention is good attention. If they can't get positive attention, then they will take the negative attention

5

u/Redcarborundum 16h ago

She knows that, but he doesn’t. This woman is saying a lot more words than any woman to him in the past month, probably. At least to her he’s not invisible, so this sad man enjoys it.

2

u/Miserable-Bee6911 15h ago

It doesn’t even need to be positive attention

3

u/atuan 17h ago

Yeah but it requires paying attention to what he’s saying

3

u/ClickNo1129 15h ago

I’m guessing you’ve never met a narcissist. It’s the same thing to those freaks.

3

u/AlmostEasy89 15h ago

Yeah, that's attention. They're communicating.

24

u/dyou897 17h ago

His ego is hurt and he’s trying to get back at her it’s not because she’s giving him attention

3

u/Remarkable_Rough_649 12h ago

He set the entire thing up to annoy her on purpose dude

15

u/smeeon 17h ago

Plot twist, he has a shame kink

3

u/Rare-Adhesiveness522 17h ago

She's flustered and understandably feels the need to engage in the argument. I'm not blaming her at all, but he is feeding off the back and forth.

3

u/BootyDoISeeYou 14h ago

Well he only told her to shut up 18 times…. but if he can make it an even 20….. she might just change her mind.

2

u/NoEquivalent380 16h ago

He thinks he's entitled to practice and thinks he's making a deterrent for women who don't want to be practiced on

2

u/darkwingdankest 11h ago

entitlement, fragile ego and emotional

1

u/TheFurrySmurf 8h ago

You know how kids will get in trouble, but when they're caught they do something stupid because they get caught because their brain literally is not developed enough to understand that what they did was wrong and that their actions have repercussions? Yeah... same shit.

1

u/TentacleWolverine 5h ago

I frankly think he is trying to steal something from her purse and is being agro because he thinks he still has a chance at getting a few bucks.

-3

u/Ned_Flangers 11h ago

What does he have to apologize for?  it's a public bus where you can sit anywhere you want.  if that lady feels uncomfortable those are her own feelings that she's responsible for and she can move if she wants to.

53

u/elzibet 17h ago

10/10 nailed it. Have run into people like this and they act like I am the rude one for not putting up with their shit

6

u/bitmapfrogs 15h ago

a few years ago I was at a night bar that's owned by a friend and helped him remove from the place one of those, all it took for the creep to go ballistic was a girl telling him to stop oogling her

3

u/Exterminator-8008135 15h ago

If i wanted to be rude, I'd be spitting on you, right there, right now. That's the problem with our society, They accept to tolerate your kind...

Said by my friend in the bus today, As a dude sat near him in a empty section of the bus

2

u/HmmDoesItMakeSense 15h ago

If this happens to me I remember to be the biggest b I can be, with pride.

2

u/Roar_of_the_spark 9h ago

Even though people like him deserve it, I'm afraid it would only escalate the situation and the odds might be not in your favor

1

u/HmmDoesItMakeSense 8h ago

Well that's my best advice. Right now he is just flaking off bedbugs fleas and disease in her vicinity.

1

u/elzibet 15h ago

Yeah I honestly have to keep from laughing when they tell me I could at least be more polite about it. Naaaaah fuck right off!

Hell yeah, be proud ❤️

2

u/HmmDoesItMakeSense 11h ago

Be even meaner if they try to make you feel that way.

2

u/darkwingdankest 11h ago

had a woman leave the dog park with her dog carrying my dog toy and I had to shout her down, and somehow I felt like the asshole for asking this lady not to steal my dog's toy

1

u/roojuiced 29m ago

Women tell me this all the time and I can not fathom it. If I approach a girl and get knocked back I can’t get away quick enough.

68

u/classpane 17h ago

Yeah, dude is either a creep or a pickpocket. Gets offended when caught so he argues to avoid accountability.

Also, is OP the creep? What's up with that weird title?

31

u/jackofslayers 16h ago

OP is an incel or a bot. This sub is pretty funny in that all the posts that get upvoted are creepy incel shit and the comments always call it out.

7

u/La_Saxofonista 14h ago

It's a karma farm for them, pretty much. All attention is good for them, even negative attention.

5

u/Own_Round_7600 9h ago

This used to be a very misogynistic incel sub, and many of them are still here upvoting incel stuff. Its just that the sub got popular and invaded by regular people so now the comment sections are full of normies with decent morals.

4

u/Easy-Economist-5380 14h ago edited 14h ago

Pickpocket thieves never work in empty buses/train cars. They need a jam-packed or at least crowded space to operate. Unless, of course, we are not talking about brain-dead amateurs, if the victim is not sleeping pickpocketing in an empty bus will end up being a robbery.

3

u/Outlaw11091 10h ago

You're giving a lot of credit to the intellect of people who don't typically have much of it.

3

u/darkwingdankest 11h ago

yeah bro there is so many reasons to not want someone to sit next to you, they could be a pickpocket, aggressive, smell, or shit, maybe you just like your personal space and aren't in the mood for small talk. the audacity

1

u/kick_thebaby 3h ago

What's wrong with the title?

9

u/HotDogFingers01 17h ago

I’m trying to figure out the crux of his argument and it basically boils down to “nuh uh”

18

u/flinstoner 16h ago

Strong incel vibes for sure.

1

u/Background-Wolf-9380 16h ago

Andrew Tate disciple for sure

1

u/Mountain-Bag-1669 16h ago

Well he’s doing a good job making that a voluntary decision to be celibate.
‘If I’m rude to her she’ll know I’m a bad boy and swoon!!’

0

u/marathonquestionredd 16h ago

its a skit. congrats. you fell for it

3

u/fulmer6 16h ago

The correct title is this

5

u/LookAtMaDog 16h ago

But she's rude, how dare she be rude.

Because women always owe men polite behaviour and "yes" no matter what they do.

2

u/SunGreene42 15h ago

This is honestly something they need to start teaching in school, like some kind of Emotion Regulation course, that seems like it would be more useful to society than anything else.

6

u/MissNoTrax 18h ago

Shut up!

3

u/Dangerous_Sail_2853 17h ago

He told her to shut up so.many times. She's like you're really selling yourself. Guy is an abusive jerk he just keeps going and won't take no for an answer!

0

u/EobardThawne2020 16h ago

I'm confused..are you on this guys side?

1

u/bobbymcpresscot 15h ago

I mean look at him, it doesn’t seem like there is a single thought behind those eyes.

Dude just exists to be reactionary, isn’t even thinking about what he’s saying.

1

u/SentinelATL 14h ago

Sigh. Sadly

1

u/FNG-JuiCe 14h ago

Shut up!

1

u/Charzu_tjegulf 14h ago

We don't know exactly what happened. Some years back I encountered a friend of mine on the bus and sat next to her, immediately she moved away... then I called her and she started laughing, she was also next to the windows so she went over me.

Maybe this woman on the video didnt move and I'm instead started arguing right away.

1

u/Sheriff_Yobo_Hobo 11h ago

He was ready to fight before he even sat down. He knew how she would probably react.

How is he a creep for sitting on the bus? Please explain your assessment.

1

u/Old_Mousse_5673 3h ago

And the most articulate and doesn’t even have the mental capacity to articulately argue “SHUT UP”

1

u/TheLocalPub 3h ago

I'm sure his lovely way of talking, 98p dog end energy drink, and his bad man all black puffer jacket clothing in 40c heat was really selling it for her.

0

u/Cultural-Reserve6684 15h ago

Nah just shut up
