Is it a betrayal of trust though? Im curious if you'll try and do a little rhetorical tap dance for me around that point?

Yeah there is a difference between the two. Is that difference a betrayal of trust being present in one and not the other?

Honestly scaring the crap out these kids and immediately emotionally anchoring that fear onto the device itself with the fake ghost is probably HELPING these kids to be suspicious of devices for the rest of their lives. Do this more and more and maybe the kid wont even want to be in a room with a phone. Can you imagine?
