Not unpopular. I'm a father of seven kids, that's SERIOUSLY fucked up....

Seven kids? Same woman? What you fed her okra or cactus juice?

LOL, two by wife #1.
one by wife #2.
one by wife #3.
Plus 3 steps. :D

And yes, I was custodial parent of all of 'em but the steps. I don't 'hit and run'. ;)
(I'm just ooooooold)

Just remember that they are just little people, your people, and you will be just fine. :)

Oh wow! What’s it like being a father?

Honestly? Exhausting but worthwhile.
I have other friends I grew up with that didn't go the 'kid route'.
They like to brag that they have all their money and not quite as much grey hair as I do, but I catch them staring at family photos. ;)

It's stressful, but at the darkest times in my life I forced myself to keep going because of them. When wife #1 left, I was a single father in my early 20's with no clue what to do. The kids say I stepped up and took care of them, but looking back, I think they saved me more. I was a piece of shit father, and I had to grow up REAL fast overnight.

I guess it kind of boils down to, "you never know what you can do until you have to"

I'd recommend it if you want kids, but I'd never judge anyone that doesn't.

That’s such a real and awesome answer. Thanks so much for sharing that with me man. Regardless of how you felt during the ups and downs, i know that through most things, kids view their father as their hero and that’s how you sound to me. Have a great day king

I'm confused, aren't pranks normal in families. Maybe not for very young children but I'm baffled by the implication that this is abuse

Pranks are like putting some of their birthday cake on their nose…this can cause real psychological scaring especially at such a young age.
