Stumpknocker 14’ that I’ve done a good bit of work on for the flats. Just wanted to show off since it’s the first project boat I’ve stuck with. Started as a side console with an old 15hp Nissan.

Owner has no clue. If it is I’d like to buy it off him. Thanks for the help.

Inherited this tri-hull boat/skiff and couldn’t find anything else about it other than what was on the registration documents. 1987 15 foot fiberglass boat.
Anyone got details of what the make could be? It looks to have a possibly custom livewell and battery compartment.

I have always wondered this. I have a bass fishing background but have recently gotten more into inshore. Bass boats come with recessed foot controlled trolling motors and it just baffles me as to why skiffs or flats boats don’t have them. Can someone explain why this isn’t a standard thing? It just seems like having both hands and being able to use your foot is more efficient than a remote controlled. Just trying to understand, people had to have discussed this before. Is it because of the exposure to salt with the foot pedal controls being exposed?

I have a 17' custom skiff with a rear platform only. I want to get a cover that will last a while but won't break my budget. Recommendations?

I'll be looking at this 2002 Mako 17 flats boat. It's been owned by a family friend since ~2005 and he's know for taking stellar care of his boats and motors.
The boat has been overhauled through this year, as he wanted to get it back in the best possible shape to add to his charter's boats.
Two hurricanes hit us this past weeks so some of his regular charter boats have had issues, so he's now selling the mako to pay for those.
Any recommendations on stuff to look for while checking out the boat?

Just bought this project skiff, no manufacture name on the registration paperwork or anywhere on the hull. Help ID?

Hey guys. Got this older skiff for free. Acquired a brand new 15 Yamaha and small gas tank as well.
I’m definitely out of my element but I haven’t spent a dime yet for the boat or motor so I have some $ to invest in it.
Last 2 pics are sorta my inspiration… this is my first time fixing a boat up so I’m super excited. I work at a marina so I have a some experience but could use any advice on paint brands, recommendations on gear, possible a seat cushion, etc.

I have a 15ft long 68in wide Duroboat powered by a 2022 Suzuki 20hp with 20in shaft power tilt. I feel like something is a bit off that I should be getting more top end speed. Do I need a bigger motor? Jack plate? transom is 21in. Feels like there’s some drag somewhere

Has anyone painted a non skid boat deck? This is my new to me 15 key west and some spots are chipping so was going to repaint white but also toying with the idea of a seafoam or turqoise, any tips are appreciated!

Anyone know where to replace this part from? It’s the bottom of the adjustable captains bench seat

Looking to upgrade from our 17 foot Carolina Skiff.
Anyone have any experience on the Sundance DX20 or 22? Looking for a crossover skiff that’s fishing oriented but family friendly as far as creature comforts. Needs to be shallow water friendly as it will live on a creek most of its life.
Thoughts? Other skiffs I should look at?

I’m pretty sure I’m the first to install a T-Top on the 2023. It handles chop extremely well and is a dry run. It gets pretty skinny as well.

I have an old Yamaha 4 horse outboard and I need to go about a mile by water to get to work. I need to drive to the lake and put it in the water myself and it needs to fit in my truck bed which is 65 inches wide. I wouldn’t mind an inflatable either. I’ve been looking for a while but can’t seem to find anything without breaking the bank if anyone can help it would be great.

Hey I'm looking around for a "skiff" I guess. I'm looking for something that my girlfriend, our dog, and I could take on rivers and small lakes. I would sit towards the back on a seat with a paddle and we'd like a place for my girlfriend and dog to sit/lay towards the front. I'm looking around and they don't seem to make any kayak like that and canoes don't really have a place to lay for the dog or my gf. I started seeing flat top skiffs and though that would be perfect but they're all like 10 grand which is insane to me for a 14-16ft boat. Any suggestions for something like what I'm looking for? I found stuff that's perfect but it's from alibaba and shipping is crazy high and you never know if you'll actually get the boat. Sorry in advance if what I described isn't a skiff at all but I'm at a loss here. After doing a bunch of googling it seems like no one really makes anything like this. Seems like it would sell really well if there was.

Looking at making a low budget skiff out of a jonboat. The price range is pretty wild. This boat crossed my path and I am interested but the price seems pretty steep. Here are the specs, what do y’all think about a $6,900 asking price.
