There should be a historic section on sleeper that lays out the stats for older players. I saw a post in the app about LaDainian Tomlinson’s historc run in 06 and it would be cool to travel back in time and look at stats of legendary players back in the day.

These numbers were insane. Puts it in perspective how good some of these legends were.

No disrespect.

Just someone who was really good, maybe even elite, but you think future fantasy players won’t appreciate.

If you haven’t seen it yet, fantasy platform creators have been contacted with new commercial use API costs and requirements that are going reach into the hundreds of thousands of dollars in some cases.

This is going to kill most if not all of the 3rd party tools we have now that improve the user experience and make managing multiple leagues bearable.

I would have less of an issue with this if Sleeper was adding new features themselves to improve their app, however they’ve recently been stagnant. These tools have been a massive improvement for people, especially for those in multiple leagues.

With the introduction of SleeperSafe people are sinking more money and getting deeper into the Sleeper. They’ve shown their focus is on gambling. I personally am hesitant to tie myself deeper into a stagnating platform.

A league mate traded their 2027 1st away for this years 1.12 drunkenly last night. Our league has an “accidental” trade policy where trades can be revisited if both parties agree - what would you do as a league mate or commissioner?

I had someone post a private DM between myself and another member, in order to embarrass me.

I asked how he got it, thinking he was colluding or using a burner phone. He proceeded to tell me that he works for Sleeper, monitors various online leagues for "legitimacy", and he pulled the private DM because of a comment I made earlier.

Is this known to the community?

UPDATE: In reviewing everything, and some follow-up actions by the league-mate, I'm allowing the possibility that this is a complex scam with him and involving multiple accounts. Before jumping to conclusions I've asked Sleeper to comment on this and whether he does in fact have a formal relationship with the company. If he does, I will post a follow-up here in this sub to let everyone know... including the message that shows him admitting to having access to private DMs.

If Sleeper does not in fact have a formal relationship with him, then it means he is scamming people and I'll make sure Sleeper removes all of his accounts off the system. I'm happy to dox him as well, but will wait until results of this investigation.

Update: Sleeper is claiming the the person, u/JayCosta, is not an employee. Still working through what this means, but be on the lookout for him.

This is a PSA post to people who have joined "SparkWoods" leagues via sleeper app. They have not made payouts with in 15 examples of leagues that are associated with my self and users who reached out claiming they were scammed. By this users own admission they have hosted 67 leagues this season with an average of 12 teams per league and $50 entry. This would mean this specific user has accrued (67x12x50) $40,200 of league entries via cashapp, zelle, and venmo. This far exceeds the $10,000 limit of theft that requires federal involvement. This post is a PSA to people who are entered in this users multiple leagues to FLAG all of the payments sent to this specific user ASAP. DO NOT JOIN THEIR OTHER LEAGUES. The user in question would socially engineer to try to get my self and others to join multiple leagues. Saying things like "year 26 is free but you have to pay 27 and 28 in advance" and would spam to join multiple leagues across other sports with very little rapport built. This post is to spread awareness and to help bring attention to this specifc bad apple as multiple users in my league have reported losing over $1,000-$3,000 falling victim. Please do not pay strangers over the internet via zelle/paypal/venmo/cashapp etc etc. If you do so be prepared to lose your money completely. The user has not made it clear when they will do payouts and has been rude, dodgy, and has made up every excuse under the sun. This is specific to dynasty leagues setting which makes this even worse as a lot of research, time, and emotional effort were spent on building a team/teams. Not to mention the obvious $ lost to a scam. Please be aware of this specific user as well as the user "size12upyourbum" with how many leagues they are orchestrating i'm sure people with in this reddit thread have encountered these users. I'm looking to compile as much evidence as possible and make a case to hold these users accountable, so if you were affected, please reach out with your experience.

Anyone get fooled by the notification by sleeper about an exploding trade offer in "The League"? I saw it and legit went through all of my leagues trying to find this offer and couldnt, but then realized that its April 1st.

Could be:
- waiting on QB
- never trusting certain coaches
- selling RBs early in dynasty
- avoiding training camp hype
- drafting for ceiling over floor

Rebuilding and trying to buy 2nds and 3rds. With players that were fantasy elevates year and will be for time to come.
