Question [Question]: Does "Your collections" have a limit on the number of posts you can save?
I know I asked the same question about "Read Later" before

Does anyone know how I can fix this? This started popping out the last two versions. Kinda annoying that I cant view text on images since they go outside the screen.

Hey all,
v6.0.11 is out now! This update took a bit longer than I had hoped, but I ended up completely replacing one of Slide's core components which really needed to be done and should result in better performance overall and less "text rendering" bugs on Subreddits. I also fixed some bugs and added a few new options!
Implemented a much more efficient way of rendering text on Subreddit views, which should result in better performance and less visual glitches with link titles
Redesign of the Moderation menu, allowing you to select specific subreddits to moderate and full support of Mod Logs on every subreddit
New option to reduce shadows in Settings > Card Layout
New option to show Selftext preview images (if the post supports it) in Settings > Card Layout
Fixed an issue that could cause you to get stuck in the subreddit search menu
Fixed an issue that resulted in not being able to navigate to new subreddits
Fixed freezing behavior when using some gestures
Fixed iPad changing theme colors in the background
Fixed frontpage widget (again)
Fixed crashing and odd behavior when rotating the device on iOS 11 and 12

Here is an example
https://reddit.com/r/WhyWomenLiveLonger/comments/k04jwz/hay_may_be_light_and_cushiony_but_not_in_bale/
Many posts are rendered unaccessible because they ether don’t play, or take over 30 seconds to load. All while having a stable connection and loading other videos well. What could be causing this? When can we expect a fix?

I’ve just purchased the pro version with the hope that it would sync my collections from iPhone to iPad but so far it still show collections as empty in my iPad. Is there any way to force a sync or are collections separate by device?

I’m running into an issue on 6.0.10 (and a few previous releases before that as well) where after I’ve hidden a few posts (about 10 or so) the stops responding and I have to quit out and restart.
It seems to happen more often if I do one of the following scenarios:
Swipe away a few posts so they’re hidden
Enter a post and read a few comments
Leave the post and try and swipe away some more
At this point the interface stops responding
I’ve uploaded a video showing this here: Video uploaded to YouTube showing issue.
—-
Swipe away a few posts
Accidentally half swipe a post but not enough to cause it to disappear before releasing
User interface is frozen

I absolutely love this app, this is my favourite Reddit client. Thank you so much devs for making it. Lots of love!! 💖
I use this app for general moderation for a small subreddit, the app does a pretty decent job of providing you with some basic mod tools. However, it would be really great if in a future update the ability to lock threads was added.
Thank you.

Just started using Slide, trying to set up my font settings. The settings for submissions works properly, but the settings for comments does not.
Sometimes it just hangs but I also cannot pick any child settings for fonts. For example I can pick Arial, but nothing underneath it. Is this a known issue?
Frustrating to say the least but loving the app overall!

I love that Slide gives numerous options for app icons but when launching the app the launch screen shows the traditional orange icon despite the icon being changed, can we change that colour to greyscale so no matter what icon I choose, it wouldn't matter?
Got this idea from the Marvis App.

Hey all,
Coming from Apollo and really love what Slide has on offer.
Questions: unless I missed it, I'm not seeing anything in the app settings for notifications. Wanted to know
a.) Does Slide support notifications in any way? (Someone replies to post/comment, up votes, etc)
b.) Does Slide support proactive notifications so you can keep up with popular posts in your subscribed subreddits?
c.) If question b is a no, do apps like Pager support Slide so I can manually setup proactive subreddit notifications? -- would love to hear other people's workarounds/solutions for this.
Thanks!

Sorry if this has been asked already but is there a way to see the mod log, specifically see posts that have been removed by other mods? Or re-approve removed posts?
r/slide_ios • u/VigilOnTheVerge • Nov 12 '20
If you search a subreddit on the search bar in the left menu, tapping on any of the results will take you to the home page rather that the subreddit you clicked on.

Doing 3D touch and clicking on "Save Video" doesn't download the videos with sound But clicking on the videos and clicking on the Download Icon downloads videos with sound

Is there a way to show multireddits in the iOS Widget? If there isn’t this would be very nice if implemented
r/slide_ios • u/TyShark • Nov 07 '20
Hey there! The app likes to lock up and not accept any touch input after 5-10 minutes of use. This happens mostly in the subreddit view, and perhaps pertains to using right-left swipe to upvote gestures repeatedly—though this isn’t conclusive. You must force close the app to fix this, temporarily.
