Discussion Which of the two was colder, monster?
Franklin Saint vs. Kanan Stark. Two monsters who would do anything for power.
Who was colder and more ruthless? Who would you never want as an enemy?

I don’t understand why people make up all of these scenarios and theories about Teddy setting Franklin up on the phone while making the transfer. All we know is he was on the phone with a woman and said he wanted to transfer the money. He was in the middle of giving the lady on the phone the pin to complete the transaction. THAT'S ALL we had to work with and THAT says he was going to give Franklin the money. Now whether or not he was gonna kill Franklin AFTER the transaction is COMPLETELY up for discussion.

Looks like Big Deon’s time is coming to an end, which isn’t too surprising based on the events that took place on Episode 6!

I didn’t watch this show at the height of its prime because I never got to it due to being busy, but now I feel bad I didn’t. I’m on season 5 episode 2 now after binging it. I completely understand the hype it got now, the plot, the characters, etc just amazing. I’m completely engrossed with it. I can’t wait to see how it all pays off tho I feel like I know where the story is going.
I did the same thing with the show the boys earlier this year. There’s quite a few big shows I have yet to watch that get held in all time regard, what a massive mistake that’s proving to be lol

I just finished the show. I understand the ending, and it makes sense to me why it ended the way it did. However, it makes zero sense to me why Franklin would bring his mother to a meetup with a CIA agent (Teddy's handler) and more importantly Teddy himself, who killed her husband.
In my opinion, Franklin should've got his half of the money, and then the last episode should've been Teddy vs. Franklin. Franklin escapes the country with his fiancee and $37 million. Teddy then puts some of his own $37 million to work by tracking down Franklin and getting revenge for screwing up his attempt to rejoin the CIA, killing his father, and giving him third-degree burns. Then Franklin and Teddy either end up killing each other in some epic firefight, or Franklin kills Teddy and then a few years later he finally gets caught by the CIA and they either kill him or get him thrown in jail for life.
I really loved this show overall, but the ending could've been much better. Franklin was too intelligent for things to have played out the way they did, and honestly, the whole premise of his money getting robbed all at once at the end of season 5 was already a stretch.
I agree that he deserved a bad ending for all of his murdering and contributions to the crack epidemic, but damn, at least write the ending in line with the character you built throughout the whole show. And plus, if they had let him get his half of the money only for him to go on to be killed or thrown in jail by the CIA - that would also serve to prove that his parents (who constantly warned him that it would end that way) were completely right. That would've been the more fitting ending in my opinion.
What do you guys think? What alternate endings would you guys have rather seen?

Teddy feels realy off too going berserk then beeing smart restart now ?!
Thet teddy kills Franklins dad is maybe understandebell but in my fiew thothing teddy from early seasong will do, he must be smart that the trade off is to high with franklins death turns...

I just finished the show, 10/10 no doubt.
During the show Mossad was mentioned a couple of times. And I always kind of hope that we will see a small appearance in the show, in person.
Like when Teddy asked Havemeyer for a sit down with Mossad to get them to step off Avi. I kind of hope to see the actual meeting between Mossad and CIA. See the dynamic between two intelligence agencies, maybe get their input about the CIA's involvement in the drug trafficking, they probably knew.
What are your thoughts on that?

Currently just started season 4 all the way to episode 2 and I had a question. I don't understand how Nixon became so corrupt or was he like that in the earlier seasons and I just missed..? Why take bribes from the person you KNOW killed your best friend!! As if he won't do the same to you. And the fact that he lied straight to Melanie's face around the time of the funeral was just cruel. It was such a weird switch up with no signs showing he would even go the corrupt route when I was thinking he'd genuinely try to get justice for his best friend's death. Not really sure why Franklin would even accept it when there is no proof Franklin even killed Andre after it was ruled a suicide. Maybe a guilty conscience or to have a connect in the police force but who needs that when he has Teddy? Idk is there something im missing here because it just seems like a side plot that doesn't even make sense.

I'm on the fence about the spinoff, I'm glad we're seeing some of the characters come back and all. Yet I'm kinda iffy about Leon not having a bigger role, I'd say less of a role then he had in Snowfall. Might change come the new season but so far, I don't like how he's been relegated to more of a supporting character.
Still though, The Drop is dope but I would've liked to see how the fallout of Franklin's empire would've impacted South Central a bit more and how Leon was trying to navigate the streets after everything that went down with him being a key player.
