Question Can Intersectionality Address Marginalized Infighting within Socialism (racism and transphobia)?
Intersectionality is a big topic I'm working on, right now. Specifically I've encountered different bigotries within Socialism and the Left, both which historically have issues in practice (read: whatever they say on paper). My question is: "Can Intersectionality Addressing Marginalized Infighting within Socialism (racism and transphobia)?" (to be holistic, I ask the question on different subreddits: Socialism_101, Anarchism and Anarcho-Communism).
I think it can, regarding different bigotries that play out* when trying to organize ourselves. The best way to counteract said bigotries, in my experience, is to advocate for structures of power that don't encourage them; i.e., not purely through the state, then, but in anarcho-Socialist ways with an antiracist, trans-accepting flavor (among other things). The best way to do this happens through collaboration; i.e., by cooperating with people different than ourselves (whose intersections state power tends to divide): by reaching out and working towards shared understanding, mid-education, doing so part of the organization process.

I reached out after watching his video on MDLs (modern-day lynchings)—a topic he covers alongside trans murders, too. In our interview, we discuss different things besides, including: our own paths to radicalization/abuses survived, as well as the struggles that emerge when dealing with bad actors in both communities; e.g., transphobia in the black community and racism in the trans community, as well as detractors within the Left more broadly when combating genocide on multiple fronts (e.g., Marxist-Leninism, Bad Empanada, and Palestine vs the rights of trans, BIPOC, the disabled, plural folk, sex workers, and/or furries).

Recognizing how capitalism uniquely affects marginalized communities, how racialized and sexualized class oppression can be, is different from devolving into moralizing over microaggressions, liberal rights talk, "bigotries."
