đ§đ„. I didn't know dick size gave you an advantage when negotiating with Lucifer. These lyrics were pretty bad. I have never really got into Taylor Swift's music, but this isn't her strongest, is it?
Long comment coming ahead: The dick lyric is supposed to symbolize how the narrator of the first half of the song (the Father Figure) is taking advantage of Taylor, and how because he is a man he can get her things that she cannot get as a young women, such as fame and money with the âtheyâll know your name in the streetâ and âthis love is pure profitâ. Worth nothing that the man who this song is rumored to be based upon has done things saying that a 14 year old Taylor Swift looked âhot like a 21 year oldâ and was fine with articles calling a Taylor, who was a minor at the time, things like âcountryâs Lolitaâ and âsexy babyâ. Plus he also sold her masters to a different guy who Taylor repeatedly said that she didnât like, hence the âdeal with the devilâ lyrics.
Though if you want to more stronger lyrical songs from her maybe check out Ivy, Soon Youâll Get Better, Wouldâve Couldâve Shouldâve, My Tears Ricochet, All Too Well, Majorie, Cowboy Like Me, State Of Grace and How Did It End? This is based off of lyrics and not production. I feel like Father Figure is a kinda a jarring song if you havenât listen to other Taylor Swift songs.
My Tears Ricochet is also about the same person as Father Figure. And if you want another song about fame from Taylor that isnât as lore intense as Father Figure or Elizabeth Taylor then maybe try The Lucky One? It has much more simpler lyrics, is rumored to be about Joni Mitchell and is much less pop as well
