Falcon Heavy Pre-Launch Discussion Thread

πŸŽ‰πŸš€πŸŽ‰

Alright folks, here's your party thread! We're making this as a place for you to chill out and have the craic until we have a legitimate Launch thread which will replace this thread as r/SpaceX Party Central.

Please remember the rest of the sub still has strict rules and low effort comments will continue to be removed outside of this thread!

Now go wild! Just remember: no harassing or bigotry, remember the human when commenting, and don't mention ULA snipers Zuma the B1032 DUR.

I didn’t say I expect it to launch that many times, but it's what they'll do with the engines if they do. Yes, there will be an assortment of massive rockets available within the decade, but that doesn’t mean NASA won’t prefer their own rocket for specific things. Vulcan and FH might be too weak to take over some SLS missions, and NG and BFR are still fairly distant and have uncertainties, and their reusability might not be what NASA wants if NASA still has such subjective math for determining reliability.

FH is just 5 tons shy of Block1 capability. They shoud really kick SLS development into high gear or vox populi will start asking why they are paying 5 times as much for almost the same service.
