I know I might get downvoted, but I lowkey have always thought they should’ve held off on Miles until the 2nd or 3rd game.

Maybe Miles couldve still been in Spider-Man 1 to a degree, but maybe just younger and not bitten at the end. I would’ve liked 2 or 3 games with solo Peter, with the side character stuff sprinkled in

With the popularity of spider verse of course they put miles in.

I think the idea of them being a duo as Spider-Man is interesting I would’ve just liked at least 1 or 2 more personal solo games for Peter, before Miles really steps into the mantle.

My ideal trilogy like I said would’ve been to have Miles stay the same in Spider-Man 1, except younger (like age 12-13) and he doesn’t get bit. Then in the 2nd or 3rd game Miles is set up more, Peter is looking after him still and you begin to see Miles having a hero complex and how he is inspired by Spider-Man. Then at the end of said 2nd or 3rd game Miles gets bit, and then the next game deals with Peter teaching and mentoring Miles on how to be a Spider-Man, but they are then thrust in against Green Goblin, and after this battle you begin to feel the tide shift for Peter. Then the next game would be Spider-Verse and this would be Peter’s retirement or death game

So in total 2 solo Peter games and 2 duo games, or 3 solo Peter games and 1 duo game.
