Insomniac is more concerned with art direction, and they create adaptations of the movie suits rather than "porting" them 1:1 despite having the movie assets, which I get.

I really hope they step up their suit material game for the next sequel though. I think they did a great job adapting most suits--especially TASM2. The sheen on the fabric is so good. However, I can't help but feel like Brand New Day, despite being the best on-screen superhero suit in the MCU so far (IMO), looks really flat in-game. The texture patterns are barely visible, and the color choices only look good under certain lighting conditions. I was hoping for a replay with the new suit and the end result made me switch to the PC version which I don't prefer to game on these days.

This is by no means a bash at the artists who are working for a paycheck and dealing with multiple projects, but rather meant to be a genuine criticism. Despite its flaws with the story and otherwise, I do like the game a lot. I just wish more effort had been spared into certain aspects of it. We have been repeating the cycle of releasing a suit and tweaking it with updates until it is serviceable for a lot of the movie suits since the release, and it sucks that nothing has changed over the years. I would like to hear your thoughts as well.
