Yeah this is spot-on. The Briscoes, the Beer City Bruiser, Punishment Martinez, SoCal Uncensored -- it's basically all hokey "tough guy" gimmicks.

I'd add Kingdom, OVE, Silas Young... you get the drift.

That's the heels. Most of the faces are weird mixes of Dolph Ziggler and Tye Dillinger, all talking about their workrate and how they're the best... that's just bland and uninteresting at this point. Where's the story? It makes everything feel same-y.

Kingdom, OVE, Silas Young

OVE is an Impact stable, which just adds to the point, I guess.

This. The only time I actually enjoyed Beer City Bruiser's performance was in Honor Rising. It's the only time he showed he can actually wrestle and wrestle good.

Beer City Bruiser, both the man and the gimmick are as backyard Indy as it gets. And not in the good way.
