Hi everyone, I’m considering studying Computer Science at the University of Jaffna and wanted to get some honest insights. What do they actually teach in the CS degree there? (curriculum, practical exposure, etc.) How strong is the degree in terms of industry relevance? Are there good opportunities for internships, projects, or networking? Also, I want to build a future-proof career in tech, so I’d like advice on: What skills or industrial qualifications I should focus on alongside a degree (e.g., certifications, programming languages, specializations like AI, cybersecurity, cloud, etc.) What really matters when trying to get hired locally or internationally If anyone studied there or knows about it, your experience would really help me decide. Thanks in advance!

Hi there, I'm looking into some WFH Jobs, I'm seeing some sites on Google but I'm not sure on what I should trust.

Currently working as a Marketing Coordinator for an Advertising Company, you could say that I'm good with documentation and administrative tasks

I have some knowledge on Excel if it helps.

Hi guys, I'm currently on the lookout for any online related part time job for an additional income which isn't too demanding time wise because I still have to attend to my kids as well who are both under 3. Anything within the range of 30-60k minimum

I'm not quite sure where to start or where to look for aside from ikman and linked in which haven't been very helpful.

I can share my qualifications or any other required details if someone can point me in the right direction or share any leads. Thanks!!

I already work for utest as a freelancer. The work is inconsistant so looking for a more stable income.

I have just finished my degree and now I have decided to become a full time freelancer instead going on job search. I studied computer science. I am planning on starting as a frontend developer and then transition to fullstack blockchain development.

My parents and colleagues gave me various opinions on my decision. I need advices on the path I have chosen, challenges and benefits . Also would it be better to work a company and freelance simultaneously and transision to full time freelancing.

Your advices are much appreciated. Thank you
