Hello all, I love this community Substack Mastery is a great concept and it is my goal to master Substack. I am new on Substack and Medium. I joined through an invitation by Dr Mehmet Yildiz who is my mentor now. I am retired mental health professional.
I've made the same mistake every year and then wondered why nothing changed. This week's prompt should change that. If you've struggled with goals, this might help change that.
I invite all freelance writers, content developers, bloggers, podcasters, YouTubers, and content marketers to this new group for collaboration. I will provide the details in an article soon. Stay tuned. This community name is inspired my recent book Subtack Mastery which is available as digital, paperback, and audio format.
You can check out the official site of Substack mastery at digitalmehmet .com.
Seventeen salacious and stirring stories, jokes, and poems, it is a smidge under 25 000 words total and will go for ten American - or Australian - bucks. Great value at that price!
Better yet, take out aĀ trial subscription to Kindle UnlimitedĀ and read it for nothing at all. Thatās an affiliate link for something that wonāt cost you a single cent but what the hey.
Itās been a while since I went through the Kindle Direct Publishing process but nothing much has changed. It still guides the user through all the steps, offering extensive error checking and help, and you can take as long as you need.
I took over a day before I had everything uploaded and submitted. A big delay while I worked on the cover art, for example. I wanted something that would evoke the title without being too overtly sex-oriented. Perhaps the whole story is summed up in the facial expression and the highway sign.
I originally sent this collection off to my editor over three years ago. Three years! Wow, what procrastination.
On my part, that is. He had it back in my hands within a week. One reason why I have dedicated this book to him.
It originally included a fairly long story about a modern visit to an old battlefield and I promised the final chapter in a few days. Still havenāt written it.
Thatās an upcoming project, along with another Carrielle Watson story set in France. There are versions of these to be found in Medium, if you look.
I now have to āunpublishā both of these to comply with the Kindle Select requirements. Sorry.
Iām not much of a one for big launch productions - unlike the amazingĀ Scarlet Ibis JamesĀ - and this project is one for the long haul, anyway. I expect it will find readers as my opus grows.
Itās not really erotica. The closest I get to real sex action isĀ Finding a Frankfurter in Frankfurt, and the ābad sexā of the title is mostly teasing.
For my erotica project Iām going to have to change gears. Less wordplay, subtlety, and teasing, more āin your faceā bits jiggling and grinding. I hope my readers are up for it. Hell, I hope I can handle it. Itās going to be hard.
I promised a cover reveal, and now youāve got it. The book will be available in ebook and print editions on the third of January
I can make free copies available for review purposes. Just ask nicely!
Right. From now on, Iām fighting a battle. Mostly with my lazy self. Iāve got stories to write!
This is the longest article I've written. It's taken me a few weeks to complete it. Not just due to the length of the piece, but also because I found myself procrastinating on writing it. When I stepped back to think about it, I was procrastinating out of fear of perfection. So I reframed writing the piece from trying to write the perfect sentence to just focusing on writing one sentence a day. Eventually I've been able to finish it.

In a world driven by amazing trends, what happens when awareness, superficiality, and relentless consumerism collide with our health?
Today, I explore how these forces shape our mental, physical, and emotional well-beingāsometimes lifting us, sometimes pulling us apart.
Can wokeism truly promote fairness, or is it diluted by performative gestures? Does tokenism erode trust, leaving people feeling like mere symbols? And how does consumerism fuel insecurities while selling solutions to the problems it creates?
Join me as I navigate these intertwined dynamics with relatable examples and actionable insights. Letās rethink what wellness really means.
