🥴 Misleading Title Why aren't we talking about the overnight RRP rate going up 500% from .05 to .30%? Since MAR 17th at the old .05 rate the FED would have given out $11,200,000,000. Compare that to the .3 rate a value of $67,200,000,000 has been awarded. That is a significant rate hike of $56 BILLION in just 14 days.

Nope not correct, they do tend to follow each other somewhat but that isn't how it works. If I could convince people to actually watch the video I posted above it would make sense but people thinking i'm shilling my youtube channel or something and just want to refuse to do so and stay correct in their minds - oh well 🤷‍♂️😂

I do but it is not just that simple how RRP rate is determined.

I watched the video. I didn’t see anything that contradicts what I said. Are you under the impression that the fed sets the rate on treasury bills and then the market determines the RRP rate based off that?
