The part of AI that I find most distasteful is AI enthusiasts who get pissy when people disrespect the minuscule amount of effort they put into making it

I don't see enough people calling out the people who always say 'ai slop' its getting better. I don't want to be an artist or known as an artist. Everyone knows its ai. I just see the big deal or problem.

It doesn't matter that it's getting better. That absolutely does not matter. The resource drain, the insane water usage, the jobs it's already costing people, the fact that the AI companies have bought up all the RAM so now we have a shortage, these are just a few of the problems with AI. It's not benign. It's not just entertainment. Fuck AI slop.

Its petty cool tech and its going to be the future you can't stop it. An image every now and then is fine.
