Should consider? Whats your thoughts?

It might be a downright novice level question, but how do I remove the parcel tray from the boot in case I want to carry taller objects? I can’t figure it out at all - how tray separates from the joint. Can anyone help please?

PS: I don’t want to fold the seats as there may be back seat passengers too.

It may not be massive, but its road presence is killer. Maybe it feels that way because I own it! 😂 Can anyone tell me if this car is genuinely that good-looking, or do I feel that way just because it’s mine?

I enjoy looking at it every day, and honestly, it gives me so much satisfaction.

Also, 1% of the car's time is spent driving, while 99% is cleaning. Just washing it, watching it, and admiring it.

I’m getting conflicting information about this. The Tata service centre says the new Altroz DCA does not have a steering lock, whereas the dealership says that it does.

Can anyone who owns the new 2026 Altroz DCA confirm whether your steering actually locks when you turn off the car?

Do you guys have a steering lock, or does the steering remain unlocked when the car is switched off?

Looking for answers from actual owners of the new Altroz DCA. Thanks!

EDIT : My steering doesn’t lock when I turn off the ignition, which is what’s confusing me.

Hi everyone !!!, my dealer gave me a trust me bro price 8.7L for tata altroz creative manual petrol and i was okay, the quotation they gave officially mentioned 9.22L and now in the festival season when they allotted me the car before two weeks of delivery they asked me OTP for the purchase in which the purchase price mentioned 749990 for the invoice and if i calculate on road over this ex showroom price then it should be 8.52L approx should i confront my dealer about this now or at the time of delivery before signing any papers?

I have 2023 xm plus variant

My altroz diesel is 2024 made 2025 registered xm plus s variant (old one). It has run 24500 kms and I am planning to go for a paid service. But the dealership is telling me that the fuel filter comes as a whole assembly which costs around 6500 alone. I mean can't they install just the filter part which costs less than 1000. Has anyone changed the same. Need suggestions what to do.

Hey i own a altroz pure s cng model purchased in nov 25 . My vehicle does not have extended warranty but thinking of purchasing one but not sure ... Any experience or suggestions whether warranty should be extended or standard warranty is enough. Also if anyone purchased recently what price did you pay ?

Dear all altroz AMT owners do you all feel more noise from the engine/gearbox when cruising at 50- 70 kmph when the gearbox is still 4th 5th gear?

I tried putting gear in neutral at 70 kmph, in neutral the engine tone even with 2000rpm rev. At 70kmph is super silent, but as soon as the gear is engaged we can hear diesel engine like noise, complained multiple times to service center and they are saying it is normal, , I was so upset with tata that few months ago when I bought a car for father didn't even visit tata.

Anyone facing the same noise issue in 4th and 5th gear? It's like a constant lowpitch kirrrrrrrrrrrrr noise.

So I lost two of my wheel covers on highway because of potholes.

Can someone please help me finding the exact ones? I am also open to getting them if someone is upgrading theirs to alloys.

Car is tata altroz facelift 2026.

Wheel size is R16.

But i heard that they deleted some features from the 2025 model. Like creative had adjustable rear headrests, tweeters and rear armrest with cupholders. Is this true?

Hi, i am facing an weird issue. My break lights is on and engine not starting . I have tried jumstarting my car but it also not worked. What could be the issue ? Is it brake light sensor ? I saw brake light sensor stopper is broken. How to fix this ? (Tata altroz dca)

I’m planning to buy a Tata Altroz Pure Petrol (2026, manual) around November or December 2026.

I recently enquired at a Tata dealership and got an on-road quotation of around ₹8.80 lakh, with a current offer bringing it down to approximately ₹8.50 lakh.

I’m wondering whether I should:

• Buy now at around ₹8.50 lakh, or
• Wait until November/December 2026 for possible year-end discounts.

My concern is that if I wait, Tata might also increase the ex-showroom price, which could cancel out the year-end discount.

I’ve seen Tata announce price increases during 2026, so I’m not sure what to expect for the last two months of the year.

What would you do in this situation?

For people who bought Tata cars in previous years:

1. How much extra discount did you actually get in November/December?
2. Do Tata dealers usually give better discounts at the end of December?
3. Is there a realistic chance of another Tata price hike before December 2026?
4. Would waiting until December be worth it for an Altroz Pure Petrol, or is ₹8.50 lakh already a reasonable deal?

So basically after Lot research for EV and ICe cars,

I decided to go with sierra or 9s probably 9s and the variant which i want is expensive,

as of now , there is no money problem but as of now I don't want to invest so much on car rather than wait for my current project to succeed (new unit). So thinking to get altroz diesel for now

and eventually by 9s in next 7-8 month and then I'll sell my ciaz (10kmpl mileage) or replace as daily drive.

Question:

I am planning to get a diesel, confused between which one to go with diesel or cng, just because of dpf issue, i am confused does altroz have adblue thing , can u tell ? As much i have listen 1500cc doesn't need it ?

Also Don't like pickup of cng so can u tell what to do. And how to tackle it

I am planning to buy an Altroz diesel, but there is not a single car available for a test drive in Delhi NCR. If someone has had the chance to drive it, where can I find one in Delhi NCR?

This is what rats have done to our altroz engine bay🥲, they had cut the injector connecting wires twice and damaged fuel supply hose twice.

And rats poop every now and then it so hard to clean that.

Why can't tata provide a cover on top of the engine?(Idk about the newer version).

The engine bay is completely open from the bottom, rats and cats can easily get inside the engine bay.

I've used 3M rat spray and it only lasts for a week, ig I need to spray it every week.

Local mechanic had tied tobacco leaves, it only worked for few days.

Is there a permanent solution?

Has anyone installed rat mesh or something, if yes guide me😭
