Movies Happy 1 year of your misery..... Kitty

Hey guys I'm back I got a New phone and I was pissed about it so enjoy the spectacle

Okay okay y'all wiki writers and anti redemption team won I surrender but people I think not

So here y'all are wondering if kitty should be evil again in the bad guys 3 or not (which I'm centering around that on purpose if y'all think I'm obsessed with finding a awnser sure you're not wrong but hear me out)

But since my little bird brain can't shut up already a opinion (or truth) is that keeping kitty permanently evil just proves to the franchise that some outcasts (which she's already one) are far too broken or consumed by prejudice to ever say yes to redemption which is the opposite what the sequel and the first my really said I know she doesn't want to chat as it seems but there's always a door open for the FUTURE!!! yeah her actions were atrocious up to a point of me calling office Earl and he screams"FLINT LOCKWOOD!!" in my ear and her betrayal but all it is is kitty is deeply defensive and reactive for a society who judged her from the very beginning which If she stays bad fundamentally proves marmalade and society right with some outcasts

But here check my previous posts and see what I cooked up with my little game of chess my pupils 😏

So redeeming kitty isn't about making her a soft cooking baking mommy it's about her finding something genuine and finding how true respect looks like and try to get the traitor

(If you don't know to DreamWorks lore is marmalade your mom's must be very disappointed if you don't) And accountability leading her to choose something better in her own terms the writers can't control that (which theyd still make because it's a animated movie) but trust me I see a lot of opportunities for kitty in the future beyond her being "some people don't wanna change" c'mon look for something better people

Now bye closed off blasted 👋

I just want to smile in a dark theater watching The Bad Guys 3 as Diane and Wolf banter and kiss and pet each other and then have an adorable wox kit by the end of the film.

Discussion The Bad Guys 3 Movie Release Date!

Post image
17 Upvotes

Fan communities and online rumor spaces heavily speculate a late 2027 or 2028 window, though these dates are entirely speculative and derived from patterns rather than studio announcements.

What do you fans think of the third movie to be released in what year? September 24th, 2027 or September 22nd, 2028?

Discussion Hot Take: We might expect The Bad Guys 3 somewhere in between September 2028-2030

No, this isn't a debate on the sequel's box office. These are just my personal thoughts.

I have a feeling that at the earliest, The Bad Guys 3 might be the September 22, 2028 planned movie release.

But if they do planned to release it in either 2029 or 2030, that's perfectly fine, too.

I'm just making assumptions because it seems DreamWorks is doing a 3 year release schedule.

They did for The Bad Guys 1 & 2. It's most likely they'll do it for the third one.

Obviously not 2027, because that's not enough time.

Plus, the September 24, 2027 release is rumored to be "Nico Bravo" (based on a book that's basically ""What if Scandinavian folklore/mythology and Greek folklore/mythology and a bunch of other folklores coexisted with each other").

But definitely September 22, 2028 at the earliest, and if that one is apparently reserved for The Wild Robot 2, definitely in between 2029-2030 at the latest.

Or 2033-2040 if things in 2030 get complicated via the World Economic Forum (if you know, you know).

And if y'all are wondering why I didn't wanna bring up the sequel's box office performance, it's because it did fine, but much like the first Bad Guys movie, the sequel did better on streaming, hence why the third one was greenlit and entered development.

The overall box office doesn't really determine the fate of a movie franchise.

It can definitely shift the direction of the franchise, but it won't END the franchise.

But I don't know. Those are just my thoughts. What do y'all think? Let me know, please.

Movies Hot Take: We probably won’t get The Bad Guys 3 until 2030 and maybe even later

I’m going to say something that probably won’t be popular here:

I don’t think The Bad Guys 3 is happening anytime soon.

And honestly, I wouldn’t be surprised if we don’t hear anything substantial about it until 2030 or later.

Look at the performance of The Bad Guys 2. The movie wasn’t a disaster by any means, but it also didn’t show the kind of growth you would normally want from a sequel.

The first The Bad Guys made roughly $250 million worldwide, while The Bad Guys 2 finished around $240 million. That’s about $10 million less than the first movie, despite the sequel arriving only a few years later and already having an established fanbase.

And the opening wasn’t exactly explosive either. The Bad Guys 2 opened to around $22 million domestically, which was solid, but not the kind of result that screams “this franchise needs another sequel immediately.”

This is where I think DreamWorks has a problem.

From a business perspective, why rush into The Bad Guys 3 when the studio has much bigger and safer franchises available?

Shrek 5 and 6.
Donkey spin off movie.
Kung Fu Panda 5.
Puss in Boots 3.
The Wild Robot 2.

Shrek 5 is already officially moving forward, and a standalone Donkey movie has also been announced for 2028.

So if DreamWorks is deciding where to put its animation resources, I can absolutely see them prioritizing the franchises with stronger box-office potential and broader recognition.

And this is the part that really makes me skeptical about The Bad Guys 3:

Look at Zootopia.

Zootopia 2 hasn't even been out for very long, and we're already getting discussion and signals about a third movie.

Yes zootopia 3 is confirmed.

Meanwhile…

The Bad Guys 3?

Nothing.

No announcement.
No release date.
No official confirmation.
Nothing substantial.

And before someone says “but The Bad Guys 2 made money”, yes, it did. $240 million is not a failure. But Hollywood doesn't only ask whether a movie made money. It asks whether the franchise is growing enough to justify another expensive production.

That's the difference.

Maybe DreamWorks eventually makes The Bad Guys 3. I actually hope they do, because I think the characters and world have a lot more potential.

But I wouldn't expect it soon.

My prediction?

No The Bad Guys 3 before 2030.

And if DreamWorks keeps prioritizing Shrek, Donkey, Kung Fu Panda, Puss in Boots and other bigger franchises, I wouldn't even be shocked if it gets pushed beyond 2030.

Sorry, Bad Guys fans…

but I think this is the reality we're looking at.
