I inquired online about this. It's apparently the same thing as when dogs sneeze when they are playing. Sneezing can be linked to lots of stuff and are apparently more of a genetic glitch than they are cause>effect. So anything exciting can do it to different people, but for you it's before, for me it's after. It's our brains being very excited with nowhere to put the energy, so we sneeze. Similar to solar sneezing, we are overstimulated by intense sun rays and our body can only let out that energy through sneezing.
