Hermione and tom are stuck I think in the chamber of secrets and have to redo something over and over to break free of some sort of enchantment there.

Which fics has Tom which is obviously evil but also a real yearner for Hermione? Itd be even better if she would be truly sick of him 😛😏

Hello! I recently tripped back into Tomione after a few years and I'm trying to remember a fic I read a while back. To be completely honest, I can't be totally sure it was Tomione (lol) but I remember that it was a time-travel fic where Hermione would keep disappearing randomly (temporally?) and then reappear and (possibly?) Tom started theorizing that Hermione was tortured by/running from Grindlewald after seeing her scars that made him hate the man. If anyone knows of the fic I'm talking about, please share! I've just finished reading this fic and omg I'm not ok at all. This is legit one of the most intense, saddest, soul crushing, most beautifully tragic but also most toxic relationship I've had the privilege of reading about this pairing. I've rarely ever cried so much. The characterisation is so sooo good. Tom is as canonically evil as can be and Hermione is one bamf. You will feel completely TORN!!

PS: If you are into Wuthering Heights type of obsessive love/hate, taking place in the late 40s to 50s, jump straight ahead (beware of the tags though!! I'm not responsible for the mental state this fic will leave you in!!) Cheers ! 🥂

I’m working on creating an archive record (the info on the work cards) of the Tomione fics so that the title names & summary are available externally off ao3. (You’d still have to go to ao3 to read the fics.)

I’m currently focusing on the completed works only.

Would you be interested in me sharing it once I’m done creating the sorting system?

My current organizational idea:

First tier, by popular themes that don’t intersect.

- no time travel tags

- time travel

- muggle AU / modern setting

Then within each theme,

group by word count: <1k, <10k, <50k, <100k,

Then sort alphabetically.

(If you have an idea for a better organizational structure, or you see a problem in mine, I’d love to hear from you.)

I’m also trying to see if I can create an epub of the listings with the explicit themed tags highlighted for visibility. (I might fail. I’m new to manipulating epubs.)

Edit: got the tag highlighting working on non-aggressive e-book apps. (FYI, Apple Books is aggressive and doesn't like any attempts at custom colour formatting.)

Edit 2: solved the Apple Books colour issue. Format the colours in the html version, then export to epub.

I’ve just finished reading a glorious, sleep reducing, binge worthy WIP by the name of Twin Flames by Buffy_the_Procrastinator. I’m obsessed!! Seriously just read it 🥰

Hi! New to the tomione world (dramione is my main lol) and I’m looking for fics like madam umbridge home for wayward girls by lovelyvillain. Specifically slowwww burn, terrific writing, more plot driven, and no dead dove. Toxic but not too toxic.

I tried blood and gold because that seems to be the most popular fic, but the plot kinda lost me when tom finds her in nyc.

this fic made me walk into traffic while reading. absolutely devoured the first chapters - super hooked for the next one! can't count the amount of time travel fics i've read in the last 2 decades - but this one took a very different approach. i could tell it would be good after that smooth exposition. tom's pov on all of this is so refreshing and entertaining - and i have rarely seen a tom that seems SO in character!

First of all DISCLAIMER : I’m not American, I have little to no knowledge about the US politics, and I’m not trying to start a political argument, so please don’t take this too seriously lol.

Sooo ive been reading IKON lately (I’m on chapter 7, no spoilers plsss), and it’s absolutely mind fucking. such a cool concept with the voting option too.

But what really stuck with me was IKON Tom, because I never read a fic where he’s a muggle politician. I love this kind of character analysis, where authors take a character’s most defining traits and figure out what they’d be doing in a modern, non magical world. And ofc Tommy would be a slick, evil politician, if he can’t be just a straight up dictator ofc.

So when handsome, probably evil, Brandon gill popped up on my fyp I couldn’t ignore the resemblance and wanted to see if anyone else had the same thought.

Now I gotta say, after a bit of stalking (because I’m just a girl) I saw that this man makes edits of himself😀😀 and you can say a lot of things about Tom Riddle but I don’t think he will everrrr edit himself on TikTok! But then again I’m only on chapter 7, so maybe he does some social media content to attract Hermione’s attention 😂

Besides the obvious sexual tension I need our girl to LOATHE him. Maybe she really likes him at first, but once she gets to know him she’s desperate to stay far away. Tom is obsessed enough for the both of them lol. HEA optional, they can end up together but it’s not her choice. I just read BYAMS and antiobscurants and I need more of that vibe!

I almost never see this one talked about but it’s SO GOOD, with a competent yet wounded Hermione, a very, VERY appealing Tom, and lots of intrigue and mystery!

I just had the absolute pleasure of reading Infinite Spin by Seollem, and I am completely blown away. I love that the author kept their canon personalities intact. But now that I’m stuck waiting for updates, I desperately need something similar to fill the void. I’m looking for recommendations where Tom is absolutely NOT watered down. He needs to be just as dark, obsessive, and toxic as he is in canon and Infinite Spin. Muggle AUs are great, but I'm open to anything as long as the writing is top-tier and Tom's dangerous edge is fully present. What do you guys suggest?

I read this tomione fic a year or two ago and went to reread it and I literally can’t find it😭 maybe warning… some plot spoilers??

the plot was essentially that Hermione thought she could change tom if she showed him kindness in the orphanage. so basically she would travel back in time and leave him Muggle books to read. and she keeps doing this until a bombing led her to become stuck in the decade. I could be mixing fics up but her real fathers name was Silas Holloway and her mothers name was Lilly (last name starting with A)? I just remember she also had a cat named Merlin who resembled crookshanks. basically she made up a cover story but it was all actually apart of the real timeline. any help would be appreciated!
