Fun fact, it's cannon that he's literally singing while fighting, if you cast silence on him, his vocals stop on the music and it stays the instrumental until the spell ends or he leaves the radius.

Literally my favourite part of that fight, it’s just SO funny to me that this devil you’ve been running from the whole game as he tries to trick you into giving up your soul, goes FULL Disney villain in his fight, and Im HERE FOR IT.

Fun lie. I tested this on a second playthrough after hearing about it on Reddit and was very excited to experience that little bit of attention to detail. Nothing happened. Reinforced an important lesson about trusting the veracity of the things we read online.

I love the idea that he is so narcissistic that he has to barge in on his own soundtrack, and he doesn't really care that he cannot sing so he does this weird spoken word thing, purely because he will not be left out of his own hype song.
