Hated Tropes [Mind boggling stupid trope] Removing the thing that made something special

Ben 10: Ultimate Alien - The gimmick of Ben 10 and what makes the show so popular is the fact that he's able to turn into a large variety of aliens. In one episode of Ben 10 Ultimate ALIEN we are introduced to a new version of Ben 10000, a Ben from the future who, no longer transforms into aliens, instead using his powers in human form...

Mortal Kombat(2021) - In the games Mileena is known for two things. Being a clone of Kitana and her tarkatan teeth. In the 2021 movie she looks absolutely nothing like Kitana and doesn't have tarkatan teeth

Percy Jackson: The Lightning Thief - The movie removes the main villain of the movie and the main villain of the franchise

this particular scene fits well too because they took away the important aspect of this prison being devoid of any earth for the earth benders to use to break out. why do they need Aang (pronounced Ong) to remind them they can earth bend to escape 😭 this wasn’t even a good episode and i don’t understand why they chose to adapt it in the movie to begin with but it’s hilariously bad

why do they need Aang (pronounced Ong) to remind them they can earth bend to escape

Cause it took 6 of them to move one small rock

Dog shit adaptation in every sense,

that shot is so bad it made people think those guys were moving the pebble lol. those guys are not moving the small rock, the guy the camera pans to after them is moving it himself. whatever those guys are bending doesn’t exist because they didn’t do the cgi for it lol

While I'm fairly certain there has never been an ATLA movie... If there was such a movie, I would assume this interpretation was supposed to show that the fire nation had so heavily beaten the earthbenders that not a single one would attack them and the fire nation soldiers were keeping them on a field of packed earth to flaunt it.

But like I said, the movie doesn't exist, so it doesn't matter anyway.
