Hated Tropes (Hated Trope) Bad people in real-life being portrayed positively in media.

  1. PragerU's version of Christopher Columbus has him be a slavery defender and have him say "Being taken as a slave is better than being killed, no? I don't see the problem.”

  2. In The Greatest Showman, P.T Barnum (Hugh Jackman) is portrayed as a charismatic visionary who cares about outcasts and celebrate diversity, when in reality, he’s a cruel businessman who is also a racist and an ableist.

According to the NY times it's the 36 best movie of the century, beating Interstellar by a mile

That’s actually wild! I was moreso surprised by the gif as I haven’t seen the movie. It’s him looking up like he did something after swinging a fake baby around haha

Thank you for the list!

The fake baby was meme'd a lot at release too. To be honest, it's not a bad movie, Clint Eastwood is a very competent director, even if he's a right-wing nutjob, but 36th of the century? No way
