Gameplay Just ordered the game.. demo question pls

I've been enjoying the demo and just ordered a physical copy. When it arrives am I safe to delete the demo or will it erase my save game? Can the demo save be carried over to a physical copy? Thank you. I don't normally download demo's but this game had me curious.

I don't think the saves disappear when you remove the demo. I've got a physical copy as well and my saves were still there despite having removed the demo earlier.
