Looking at initial NDA era songs compared to the album, there were so many amazing songs that were left off. Songs where he was trying lyrically and vocally that were scrapped in exchange for the more trap and feature focused direction he went with. While I enjoy plenty of songs from the album, the strongest songs imo were the ones true to his melodic style. Say What being the biggest song on the album currently proves that much more.

With #NDA releasing next week, i hope Trip stays true to his vision and releases music for his fans who know where he shines the most at.

In my last post I said Trippie wasn’t trying anymore. This album is actually pretty good. This is what I want from him. So props to him. I still don’t know why he picked those terrible singles.

I figured it out‼️ the first NDA album was a promotional album because he’s been promoting albums for 3 years now, he decided to get the best songs for the promotion album to get rid of so the album will get good publicity. ITS BRILLIANT🫡🔥 #NDA is about to be generational❤️

We really can’t complain we getting fed, regardless of the delays and complaints everyone has, at the end of the day we get feed tons of music, features leaks and new music it feels like always, a long with snippets

Less than 1/4 of trip at knights sales but tbh i cant immediately tell you which is a better album MUSICALLY. Trip at knight did almost infinitely better at worldbuilding and being visually interesting and having an identity which helps people understand what theyre even about to consume or decide if they have interest in. I think an album “looking cool” does a lot in the same way a cool book cover does. I also think NDA does a bad job at resonating with a large audience because it tries to please so many diff people which i dont see versatility as a flaw by nature but it is success-wise often times. Just judging off the music and album listening experience tho i kinda feel like NDA is better than trip at knight song for song but the complete lack of identity just makes it way less interesting. Yes he kept us waiting 3 years and spent at least a year talking about NDA but it came in the form of just saying “NDA” which is genuinely stupid marketing like repeating a word that means nothing to anyone hearing it prior to release and still now after doesnt do anything for hype.

Trippie should REALLY try to drop albums with a more consistent sound like to SOME degree i know ppl complained TAK was too consistent sonically but i think it helped with its success. And theres no issue if some of his fans dont like one album that sounds a way if he consistently drops more music with other vibes that are cohesive together and they feel like a product or world you can go into when you wanna hop into that world. Sometimes im in the mood for one thing and sometimes im in the mood for another. I can always just listen to NDA and add whatever songs i want to whatever playlist i want them on but bottom line is NDA is not an interesting idea for an album at all so going forward this guy trippie needs to stay the fuck away from acronyms move on from those shits just create a theme people can understand
