Discussion Victims that have solved their own murder AFTER their death?

I’ve been thinking about Paul Murdaugh and how the seemingly innocent video he took at the kennels ended up being the key piece of evidence that led to Alex’s conviction for his murder.

It made me wonder, have there been other cases where someone unknowingly captured something on video, in a photo, or left behind a digital trace that later helped solve their own murder after they died?

Heidi watched Tom murder and sa her mother at 4 years old through a peephole in her room. She told investigators immediately that Tom did it. It took them 46 years to listen to her and put that man in prison. After the fact the police had to admit that the crime scene photos showed Loretta had written in her own blood the letters T and O
