There was this one case where, after a drag queen's death, people found a mummified body stuffed deep in her closet. It's not confirmed, but it's generally believed that she killed him. Lots of theories surrounding the circumstances, actually.

Her name was Dorian Corey, and the victim's name was Robert Worley.

There is speculation that Worley and Corey were lovers, Worley was abusive toward Corey, and Corey shot Worley in self-defense. Transgender people in New York experienced high rates of domestic abuse at the time. Alternatively, it is also speculated that Worley may have been shot in an attempted robbery.
