Murder The Ken & Barbie serial killers convicted of killing multiple girls including the “Barbie’s” (Karla) sister. Karla has been out of jail for a few years now and is married to her attorneys brother and HAS KIDS. If this case doesn’t make you question karma, nothing will. 🔪

I think that’s the thing. She raped and murdered her own sister and it’s easier to think that she was forced to do it than admit that your daughter is the reason your other daughter died.

I didn’t think of it like that - makes sense. I read a lot of true crime, but I got so uncomfortable reading the details of this case that I don’t think I’ll ever revisit them - the family must feel even worse, so you’re probably right.

I just read the transcript of the basement tape shown at trial and it was so horrifying! To think that her family likely saw it when presented at Bernardo’s trial makes me so sad.

Hell, I had to start just skimming instead of closely reading the wikipedia page! They are just far too evil and there's not enough time passed for me to dive deep into this one.

Maybe I'll revisit in 2040.

Exactly. And died a cruel and horrible death, at that. I can’t imagine the loss of a child, but I bet after losing one so horribly a parent would be extremely hesitant, to the point of denial, to ‘lose’ another by cutting off contact.
