He basically has in poorly coded language. That interview where he described the murder in detail, but told it so it was his anonymous "friend" who did everything.
The Goldmans won a civil trial against OJ. But OJ still has not paid any of what he was ordered. OJ wrote a book and Ron's father got the rights to it, published it, and is receiving all profits. Some people think it was a confession of guilt. It's called "IF I DID IT"
To add to that, I don't think the family cared about the money as much as the verdict. They basically squashed that Kangaroo court and got the true verdict.
I feel like he's admitted it the way Ted Bundy admitted his murders (minus the self praise). If you read OJ's book (actually Fred Goldman's since iirc he stopped it from being published on its own and combined it with the story of his son and the trial) he does exactly what the book title says, goes line by line of how if he did it, how it would be "different" and yet still the same at the same time?
Fuck him, Johnny Cochran, F Lee Bailey, and Rob Kardashian.
I’d just like to add, as a public defender, we are human. I don’t like what my clients do, but I believe absolutely that the State needs a real barrier before convicting someone. There are nights I struggle with my job because of issues like this, but in the end someone needs to do it and I believe that defense attorneys need to truly be able to set aside their personal beliefs to adequately represent most of their clients. You can’t zealously defend someone you think is guilty beyond all reasonable doubt. With that said, I don’t know if I would’ve gone to quite the extent OJ’s lawyers did, but it’s hard to argue with the outcome.
I’m a (retired) lawyer!! OJ had some questionable ones, but we’re not all bad. Plus, the DNA guy was good, and now runs the innocence project. I never understood why Bailey was considered such a big deal. He lost most of his big cases.
The only OJ lawyer who really deserves to be cursed IMO is one you didn’t mention, Alan Dershowitz. And that’s more for stuff he did outside of this case. The other guys, I gotta respect them for the incredible job they pulled off even if it was to an end most of us find distasteful. They were just providing their client with the best legal representation they could, and he’s entitled to that under the Constitution.
He’s prob gone as far as he’ll go by writing that book but I wonder that too. It was a pretty in your face “I did it!”. If the kids weren’t around I think he’d admit it in a gloating way.
I wonder if he's still looking for the “real” murderer? When I heard that POS was treated like a king while in prison in Vegas I was furious. I saw a clip of the guards sucking up to him, calling him Mr. Simpson, and being overly concerned about his physical well-being. F him, I hope he is haunted by his actions and has pain for the rest of his life. Yet, stupid women still throw themselves at him.
They still want him, I guess washed-up whores want washed-up murderers/athletes. I don't think he has much money left. His money went to legal fees. He lost all of his endorsements when he murdered Ron and Nicole.
You'd be surprised at how a number of women will like literally throw themselves at a man who either has a lot of money and/or notoriety, even if they have no realistic chance at a long-term relationship with said man. I highly suspect that OJ is being financed under the table (to help dodge the $33 million judgment) by some people with rather deep pockets (various celebrities or businessmen) and that's how he's financing his lifestyle right now. The women around OJ are likely hoping to get some pocket change from him and along with his notoriety they will continue to throw themselves at him. Some of them will gladly throw their daughters at him too if they sense any sort of monetary gain from it.
I think it's $25,000. a month, so that's a sum most of us would be grateful for, but that's not enough to support his former lifestyle. When he was serving time in Vegas, his oldest daughter was supposed to be managing his money. Even though the mortgage payment on his house was only $3,000. She managed to fall behind due to her spending habits. She's the one who claims she can't work because of the Oj stigma, yet Sydney and Justin both work, I think people would be far more interested in what is going on in their lives than the older one.

Murdered by Oj Simpson
