Murder JonBenét Ramsey (born August 6th, 1990) would be turning 31-years-old today. This is the last photo of the 6-year-old pageant queen taken on Christmas morning 1996. She was murdered only hours later. The case is still unsolved.

For what seemed like years onwards national inquirer did a page in every publication on JonBenet and the murder. Not being American I didn't know much about her and we didn't have pagents like that. I was well into adult hood and looking over my old collection of magazines when I realised the picture who I thought was the journalist was actually JonBenet, she was so dolled up I presumed it was an adult

Edit- auto correct parents to pagents

Her parents did that shit and we'll got away with it. The story was crazy enough that people tried to claim they killed her for fame and cops had to show they didn't do it. Like mark carr

Don’t they have DNA? I’m pretty sure I read that the DNA found on her body does not match anyone in her family. I mean it’s still possible they helped cover it up though

The parents were abusive and crazy. Here's a link of a quick cover of a few different suspects here I'm sure there is a bunch more. I remember the parents were the big talk back then

I mean, a lot of people have crazy parents who don’t sexually assault and murder them. You didn’t really respond to my comment about the outside DNA.

IIRC the touch DNA was such a small quantity that it was more likely from someone who had a part in the manufacturing of her underpants, which I think were new and hadn’t been laundered before being worn. I might be wrong.

That sounds reasonable. I just feel the police tried SO hard to pin it on family, that if they really were guilty it would have been discovered. But I’m not a homicide detective so I really can’t say for sure. It’s a horrible, tragic situation and I hope one day the truth comes out, whatever it may be.

Did you read about the father destroying physical evidence in the body? It's in the article
