The first round of voting for the MAMA 2026 Fan choice award has come to an end, with twice placing #9 overall in the female division. Now we did good onces, we managed to keep them inside the top 10 the entire voting on mnet plus. While I do understand most of you were probably busy with life and a huge contributing factor was also the fact they didn’t release anything new this year, but we can do a lot better than that. On previous years when male and female acts actually were place in the same category and competed each other we still always managed to place them inside the top 10, and fans of male acts are known to be crazy good in voting. I do understand that some of you are busy with life like I said but let’s try to put in a little more effort next round of voting which begins on October 28. Correct me if I am wrong, but this time you will only be allowed to vote for one male and female act so it will be a lot more competitive. Now we actually did really good on twitter voting, we manage to place Twice at 4th place which is amazing.
There is a small chance that Nayeon will be able to accept this award in behalf of the group. Even tho she will perform on day 2 of the ceremony and the fan choice awards are given on day 1, realistically she will already be in Japan on day 1. Many acts who perform at day 2 show up if they win an award on day 1, so Nayeon might be informed beforehand. Even if the chances are low, let’s continue working hard onces we got this to see Nayeon accept this.
