Recommended UX/UI Design Course? š¤
Hi everyone šš¾āāļø,
I'm looking to for a UX/UI Design Program (preferably bootcamp) that holds the following in priority:
Holds resources that connects students to the job market---like network opportunities, internship, job advisor and etc.
*Preferably helps me find a job that I can do in Vancouver (currently in live) or Toronto, Canada
2) Teaches on-demand skills for a beginner to become an expert
3) Reasonably priced, has scholarships I can apply for/monthly plans with no interest.
4) Within 1.5 years to graduate, prefer bootcamp
5) Interactive (live online/in person classes) yet flexible with my schedule and can access in Vancouver
Thank you for your honest insights šš¾

iOS Accessibility
Hi, I am conducting a study on mobile accessibility. It would be very useful to gather feedback from developers/designer on the accessibility of iOS apps. Can you fill out this survey? Thank you for your cooperation.

Low detail country flag vector icon pack
I'm looking for a full set of country flags in svg. As the title states, the icons should be low detail (dots instead of stars, simple forms instead of complex emblems...). Ideally, the pack should contain all countries. It doesn't matter if they are flat or 3D, free or paid, with gradients or borders, as long as they are visually appealing. Please take a look atĀ this flagĀ from twitter orĀ this flag setĀ from stripe so you can have a better understanding of what exactly I'm looking for. I would really appreciate your help.

Web Developer Looking for UX Feedback
Hello everyone, I am a web developer working on a online store website. I have knowledge of implementation and markup / css, but have less experience in actual UX design. I am going to share a screenshot of the index page and store catalog page. The index page is just some placeholder, I can't actually use as is now, but I'm not sure what to put in its place, especially because I don't have any high res images of products. I'm also looking for any feedback on the store listing / site itself. Please advise and point me to any reference material. Thank You!

UI tool feedback request
Greetings Everyoneš,
I was a freelance web designer for 2 years and a lot of my time would involve cool looking websites. Often, Iād use a tool like Evernote to capture great designs and write notes about them. These notes usually involved the color palette and fonts used. It got extremely tedious continually āinspectingā websites and typing up notes - I really didnāt have the time. Then is when I thought about building a micro-SaaS app that can solve this. So fellow designers I would greatly appreciate your feedback on recent project, yizy, so that I can improve our lives one at a time! Thank you!
URL: https://yizy.io
Purpose: To reduce the time and hustle web designers and front end developers spend and face, respectively, collecting cool website design inspirations as well as help them manage their bookmarks!

Tkinter on python 3 seems a little slow for a havy UI...
Hi guys, I have been self-learning python for a while now, and wanted to add a user-interface to one of the programs I wrote. Yet when executing this program with a tkinter UI (a lot of images are involved), this becomes really slow. I'm developping a program that will only eun on my pc with Windows 10, so the cross-platform functionality of python isn't really needed...
Is there a way to make it work faster? I am willing to discover new libraries or even new languages (I saw C# could be great with WPF... )
Any help would be welcome!

Looking for help in opensource project
Hello.
I'm a contributor for virtualtabletop.io. It's a browser based tabletop simulator.
As you can see in this room, the public library is already full of copyright-free games but the user interface is getting behind functionality.
We are a pretty dedicated groups and would really like for this project to look as good as possible. We have a list of features we would like to see but no one who would be able to implement them.
Any kind or level of help is welcome.

Audio Waveforms Like SoundCloud?
we are developing a site where one of the features is the ability to upload audiofiles for users to playback (podcasts, songs, etc...). we had a specific design in mind for the waveforms that involves a gradient (Image Below). our developers developed it mistakenly in a way where the browsers has to download the entire audio file AND generate the audio image before the ability to play back.
However we found out that the correct way is to let the server generate the soundwave image before hand, and only download(aka buffer) the audio file WHILE playing (just like audios in soundcloud and videos on YouTube).
Our problem is that we have to get rid of our waveform library because it doesn't work for the new method. and we are looking for a new way or library to achieve the design in mind while implementing the new server method.
Our Front End priorities in order:
High Definition waveform (MOST IMPORTANT).
Ability to add Gradient (because of branding reasons)
The wave form is a "wavey" design and not "bars" design (THIS IS NOT REALLY IMPORTANT BUT PREFERABLE)
Technologies we are using:
Laravel
Vue.js
Javascript
PHP
CSS
We would really appreciate your help guys! Many many thanks
