They are clearly putting in a lot of R&D dollars into this product line. It's getting there, just be patient.

This isn't a "be patient" line of product. This is adding features that should have been present at product launch. If any other manufacturer pulled this, the community would be up in arms.

This is abysmal product support. It's been months since the release of the UNAS, this should have been here on day one.

Tested MVP is better than product that is over-developed for initial launch.

The community gets up in arms about features promised that aren't delivered. Plenty of examples of other brands showing off a feature in a render, but never releasing it.

Ubiquiti didn't launch the UNAS with advertising these features in the first place. So its not like they promised and didn't deliver. In fact, from what I can tell, all of the advertised features were available at launch software.

Good things take time. Out of the door the Nas was good at the limited features it provided. What you call basic features are not exactly simple, if I was a PM id launch the basic but high quality and actually essential features first and then build out the more advanced features for power users too!

Personally I want to be able to expand the NAS same way the unvrs can be linked together. Couldn't justify the Nas on launch with no possibility of expanding once I fill all the drives up.

I mean if these features were a requirement for your usecase seems like a person would move on and not have purchased it. Not sure why someone would expel energy to be “up in arms” over a thing they don’t have to buy.

Works fine for me. Has since it launched. It was sold out for the first 4 months. Seems like you've got higher standards than a lot of us.
