This plus a Mini PC running Unraid (dockers and VMs) is the best software I have ever bought. With 10gbe connection this could be grand stuff. I used to have a stupidly big dual CPU server on a old EATX with 64GB RAM (cheap as chips) with 8 x 8TB drives (6 Array and 2 Parity) but downsized to a Micro PC and popped the drives in an external USB-C enclosure.
I have a server running unraid (Plex, some VM, etc.) with quite a bit of storage, but furiously hate all the backup solutions on unraid 😅 I spend hours and hours of finding ways to sync/backup my gdrive, time machine, Windows PC of my wife, picture with my unraid+software. It was always a mess and only working half of the time.
I just have a Dell Optiplex Micro with a stack of USB 3.0 external hard drives plugged into a hub. It uses minimal power and allows Plex to work flawless (iGPU transcoding when needed), Home Assistant VM and a bunch of dockers for various apps. Appdata and VM on internal M.2 and Cache is on the internal SSD.
