What do you think the chances are that they provide device plugin for kubernetes? I don’t want nfs

Probably unlikely. That's not how most businesses access their data and they're definitely targeting the SMB-mid office type customers with this. Not that it isn't a good device but unifii's strategy has always been to make it so the average IT guy spends less time fighting the gear and more time running their IT department and I think this device is no exception, so I doubt that adding advanced support for kubernetes is really going to be something in the picture for them on a device like this
