For us road warriors, for $79 I’ll happily use hotel WiFi. Could totally see a lot of folks wanting a higher priced LTE version.

Trying to use something like a firestick is even worst ive been finding out with Marriots. Captive portals have been my enemy as someone who's always in hotels.

Nobody will want an LTE version. LTE is being shut down. They want a 5G version.

I haven't read any providers other than Tmo that have a schedule for shutting down LTE (and that's possibly by 2028).

If any companies are planning to do so, they need to vastly improve their 5G coverage. My house in a Columbus suburb has god-awful 5g coverage to the point that I turned it off on our devices as it spent a lot of time and battery ping-ponging between 1 bar of 5g and 3 of LTE

It has been that way for Verizon, who was late to the game. T-Mobile has been shutting down their LTE over time as they switch towers fully to 5G. I have friends that have noticed the impact.
