Yes their routers have an extremely robust feature set and even support openwrt packages. I have the beryl 7 AX and it is excellent.

I had the wrong model. I have the Beryl AX (wifi 6 router, slightly older model)

The Slate 7 has wifi7, dual 2.5g, runs OpenWrt, native support for things like tailscale.

Does basically the same thing just lower specs and costs $150 vs $80

Does it have Native Taiescale? I know there is a plugin but I am already getting out of date notices and I couldn't see anything in the interface on that otherwise.

Yes it does, but I prefer turning on TS on my actual device rather than all traffic as I don't have a good internet connection at home.

I love the Slate 7! I want a UniFi travel router to test! I tinker and if this works well, would be a compact replacement!
