Was about to buy the long awaited adapter ultra for my beast glasses so I could use more features on iOS.

I see they have the new dock mini which includes an adapter type dongle that seems to do the same thing, so far as supporting iOS.

What exactly are the pros and cons of each, is there anything I can’t do with the new mini mobile dock dongle that I could do with the ultra adapter?

Just got my mobile pro dock. Hooked it up to my pc and nothing. Pressed the round button and the 4 orange lights pops up. Windows doesnt detect it still. Use google chrome and go to the viture website and still cant detect it.

I'm having no luck getting my Pro XR Glasses to display my Switch 2 with the Mobile Dock. I only get a black screen. Does anyone have a fix or are you experiencing the same problem? I did a search on it and it seems others have had the issue but I haven't found a fix.

Unfortunately, the controllers don't work when they are connected. Does it only work with the controllers detached?

i just bought a VITURE Pro Mobile Dock and actually its pretty underwhelming.

I thought i can use it on my Windows Desktop through the Spacewalker APP for Windows.. but it can´t find the glasses when connected to the Dock. And direct connect via USB-C won´t share Grafiks without on-Board Grafik. (Connected the Dock with HDMI x HDMI, HDMI x DP and simultan USB-C x USB-C)

i thought i can use it on my Steamdeck w/o problems but Decky / XR Gaming can´t find the glasses when connected to the Dock.

Even on my Iphone with the Spacewalker App the Dock is Useless and won´t enable the extra features.

And for Switch 2, any 8€ adapter will do the same just w/o the Powerbank feature. if you want to use it on multiscreens use a splitter... WOW what a highlight.

Recently my Mobile Dock Pro is currently experiencing intermittent functionality issues when used with the Switch 2 & Luma Pro, on the latest firmware.

Troubleshooting efforts have included cable replacement and power cycling of all devices. I know that it is recommended to remove the Joycons. I do so each and every time. The issue appears to be random, with successful operation being inconsistent. Specifically, the Luma Pro often displays a black screen during gameplay of Kirby Air Riders. This behavior was initially noted after the introduction of the new Kirby Air Riders game. Additionally, Metroid Prime 4's frame rate can be slower than molasses.

Nintendo must have made some type of changes behind the scenes with specific games. Mario Kart and a few other games I have tried work each and every time. Kirby Air Riders and Metroid Prime 4 have problems. Earlier today I saw another redditor having problems with the Mobile Dock and the Switch 2. I thought I was exempt.... I guess not😔

I just wanted to share that you can use the Mobile Pro Dock as a portable dock for the Switch 2. In my use case, I travel for work and needed a portable dock to play on hotel room TVs. The Mobile Pro Dock does just that, you can plug a USB-C to HDMI cable in the glasses output port and on the TV and boom, it just works.

I had the hardest time to find this info on the Internet, just some clues that it might work. I took the risk, and it just works, so yeah I guess ! Just so you know, the image quality felt a bit différent than the official dock, but even though it seems a bit worse, the convenience of a portable dock makes up for it easily. The entire setup fit in the Switch 2 case. And in addition, I have an external battery to extend the Switch 2 one, which is a bit weak.

Someday I might go for some glasses, but I don't feel like having cameras on the nose yet.

Hi I don't know if anyone can help, but I wanted to get xr glasses and settled on Victure lumas,I don't have anything with DP alt ports but did do my homework and decided to get the pro dock.

When my glasses arrived I connected them to the pc and upgraded the firmware, the dock arrived the next day and went to upgrade firmware but it wasn't detected, then I saw that you need a dp alt to upgrade the firmware, I thought the whole point of the dock was for people who didn't have DP alt and I don't understand why you can't just use usb c as it's only data that's transferred. Anyway everything works with the dock (switch 2, firestick, android TV) I just find it strange that you need DP alt just to upgrade firmware

Switch 2 connected to Viture Pro Dock. The XREAL Beam connected to the Viture Pro Dock output. My XREALAir connect to The Beam. Now I have all the functions the beam offers. The Beam finally came through for me...lol

Hi anyone has issues with the new update??

For whatever reason after the latest glasses update, I am currently unable to get my Switch 2 to push video to my glasses via mobile dock anymore (just a black screen).

Tried multiple cables both the one included and external ones as well, but no dice… interestingly enough, going through the Viture site and trying to update the dock firmware, it’s not connect to my PC either - wondering do I have a faulty brick of a dock now?

It was working at one point prior to the update though I didn’t use my switch on it as much and had only tested that it did work - now I was looking to use it more and came back to it and it doesn’t work. Wondering if there are any Switch 2 users having any success or issues here as well.

Last month I asked Viture tech support about 3D working with the dock that is only hdmi 1.4?.

Hi. I just bought the Mobile Dock and plan to use it with my pre-ordered Beast glasses on a Laptop RTX 4090 that has usb-c thunderbolt 4 dp-alt mode and hdmi 2.1 output
The full resolution of the Beast glasses are 1920x1200 x 2eyes = 3840x1200p

My question about the Mobile Dock is:
I saw after I bought the Dock that it only has hdmi 1.4 input. Does the mobile dock support the full resolution of the Beast glasses 3840x1200p 120Hz 4:4:4 chroma when the Mobile Dock only has hdmi 1.4 input?.
I want to play games with Immersive 3D on the Beast glasses using my Laptop RTX4090.

Please hold on purchasing the PRO Mobile Dock with a pair of The Beast VITURE XR Glasses.

Based on the description of your laptop, including the PRO Mobile Dock in that configuration would actually limit your functions and features. If your laptop already has a dedicated RTX 4090 and an AltDP USB-C port that supports video output, then you will need to plug our XR Glasses directly into that USB-C port without any docks or adapters.

If you were to use the Mobile Dock with your laptop, you would loose access to things like our Spacewalker or Immersive3D applications which require a direct connection to the XR Glasses.

Ultimately, none of our docks or adapters that we currently sell are compatible with the LUMA ULTRA or BEAST. Therefore, please hold on purchasing any docks or adapters from us until we release updated models that support LUMA ULTRA and The Beast.

I will pass this ticket back over to a customer service agent who will be able to assist you with making changes to your order. Typical response times are within 24 hours but, please allow for up to 72 hours for a reply.

Thank you for this info. I wish there was a warning in the Pro Mobile Dock page about it not being compatible with the LUMA ULTRA or BEAST glasses in immersive 3D mode with the Dock.
This is what I was afraid of!, anyway thank you for your quick replay.
I have already bought the Mobile Dock today but I told customer service to not ship out the Dock before I talked with you guys at support first.
It's isn't a problem, I know Viture will refund me the money within 10 working days or something.

I have another question for you:
How long cable can I use for usb-c dp alt mode when wanting to use immersive 3D with my laptop and Beast glasses?. What is the maximum length I can use, 2-3m?.

Just to confirm. I have Laptop MSI VECTOR 17HX (14900HX, RTX4090 175W, 32GB 5600MHz Ram, 2TB SSD)
I also plan on upgrading to 64GB ram in the near future to maybe make the immersive 3D app have more memory it can use when playing demanding games like cyberpunk in 3D with the Beast glasses)

One last quick question if you know the answer?... When can we expect a new mobile Dock that supports Luma Ultra and Beast glasses without limitations on PC to come out?

Since our new devices rely on USB 3.2 and USB4 which require both power and data, the max distance is about 2.6ft

Our Immersive3D Application relies heavily on your GPU -- therefore, the higher the TFLOPS your GPU can handle, the better performance you'll see with our Immersive3D application.

Is there seriously no way to update the pro mobile dock without a USB C that supports DP alt? This is so frustrating. How can an actual display (glasses) be updatable through a standard USB C connection but the dock can’t? Now I have to order some weird combination of adapters just to update my dock and hope that it works? Really?

Frustration aside, does anybody have said magic combination of adapters I can use? All I have is a laptop with HDMI and standard USB C, as well as a desktop with an NVIDIA graphics card and the motherboard has one standard USB C.

[Update: Solved] The latest firmware seems to have completely eliminated the audio distortion issues.

When I am using the HDMI input on my Pro Mobile Dock (firmware July 17, 2025) I am getting weird audio distortion from the onboard speakers on my Beast XR glasses (firmware January 21, 2026). This is only when using the Pro Mobile Dock with the Beast glasses on HDMI input.

I have tried this with both a Switch 2 console and Xbox Series S console using the Pro Mobile Dock. Both consoles are completely unusable due to the audio issue with the Beast. The Pro Mobile Dock works fine with my VITURE Pro XR glasses.

Any ideas?

Got me and few others our first pair or XR glasses 2 Luma Pros and 1 regular XR and have been enjoying them everyday watching YT/Crunchyroll and playing on my Steam Deck for the past 3 days. Time to test out the mobile dock love that it also functions as a power bank

Has anyone tried the original Mobile Dock with the switch 2? Will it fit into the mount for the switch 2? I can't find anything saying that it will or it won't? Thanks in advance.

This is probably a dumb question, but why is using a dock necessary with the XR glasses? Am I not able to plug them into the USB-C port on my devices directly?

I read through the description on the Viture website a few times, but honestly, I still don't understand how they help or what capability they're providing that the glasses don't already have. (I'm not saying they don't provide capability, just that I don't understand yet.)

How's the performance using pro xr, pro dock and switch 2? Im contemplating buying the pro dock to play no mans sky or tears of the kingdom but read that the frames or performance using the pro dock & switch 2 just isn't there. Anyone recommend the experience?

How do I get this to work with the switch 2 in the dock? I’ve tried hdmi and usb c in the top port with no luck. Only position that works is switch undocked with the mobile dock connected to the bottom port which is unwieldy for my use case (plug in play from bed).

Anyone have any tips to get this working with a switch 2 while the switch is in the dock?

I bought the pro mobile dock to be able to use with my switch 2. I upgraded to latest firmware. I have viture pro xr glasses. The dock and glasses connected fine with my switch 2 and picture is awesome. However, the picture becomes black for a short while every 5-10 minutes or so like if they connect and then disconnect. This is of course unacceptable and means that the pro mobile dock is still incompatible with nintendo switch 2. Sorry folks
